Poor people in the barrios looked up to Pablo as a saint though. He provided them with things that the government didnt, so they became loyal to him even if they never met him.

Some say Pablo had a good heart while others say it was just a tactic to create a huge network of loyalists to keep him safe whenever the police or army rolled into town

but a random wouldn't instantly kill innocent cops and also stick it out till the very fricking end just because pablo built a retirement home or 2, especially a random that only met pablo with a quarter of his history left

Do you say that because you've lived a sheltered existence all your life? The third world don't operate on the same logic as you

America isn't a country, it's an excuse for a bunch of rich buttholes to not pay taxes for a war they started.

poor people weren't on the plane that Pablo blew up to kill one guy, who didn't even board in the end.

Limon was famous for being loyal to the last, who cares whether he had a long complicated history for joining escobar or if it was adapted to a movie screen?

    >waddles into scene
    >already has a massive sweat stain across his entire collar and down his shirt
    >says a characters name very slowly
    >speaks at 10 hertz
    >grumbles a cryptic sentence while sounding like a diesel truck starting up in subzero temp
    >somehow looks smart at the end of the scene despite being a moron
I loved this fat frick, anyone know any other good roles he's in, very cool voice

great character and loved how he became like a joke character in S3 with that outfit. Why did they drop Narcos completely? S3 of Mexico was crap but it was popular.

The Narcos creators went on to make Griselda which was fricking terrible even compared to the worst seasons of Narcos. It was basically Narcos made for teenage girls and wine aunts

lmaooo i just learned that exists. what utter drivel. I guess people only care about Pablo but the Mexico stuff has so much potential. El Chapo and Nemesio Oseguera, along with the army chief turned drug baron who fed his enemies to his lions. They wasted it.

Come on now, Griselda was pretty good consider it was based on a real person and they didnt just invent a female narco for the hell of it.
She gets fricked over by her rivals multiple times so you cant even claim it was a Mary Sue portrayal.

They have stretched the "based on a real person" bit to the max with this one. Yes she existed, yet 95% of the events are fictional/exaggerated. Female narco bosses are not a thing, this simply isn't their domain, which is why it's wine aunt cringecore.

Kek, most dramatised thing in the show

Im so crushed we didnt get Narcos Mexico season 4. Los Zetas would have been kino.
Griselda was surprisingly good though, id rate it as one of the best seasons in the franchise, even if it leaned feminist with that annoying cop.

just watch the el chapo series if you want the whole los zetas story and their war with sinaloa. pretty much all the people who were there in real life has said that narcos is basically half real story, half made up bullshit, while the el chapo series mostly sticks to the real story while making up some shit about certain characters to avoid being sued by the corrupt politicians who are being portrayed in the series

S3 was an abomination. They ruined everything, made Guero a joke, the woman reporter I despised, Walt was a joke, the entire season is one of the worst pieces of media i've ever seen. The guy they got for El Mayo was horrible.

Narcos recruit from all manner of typical poor backgrounds. Tons of men have latent warrior spirit that can rise to the occasion in the right circumstances, imagine how happy you would be if you were pulled from your soul crushing taxi job, given a gun and told you were about to get rich as hell. It isn't as hard to kill as you'd think when it's in the context of war, not cold blooded murder of innocents.

Indeed. Good leadership and direction is rare. Just imagine if someone came up and roused the disgruntled loners together. You'd have an army overnight.

How is there not a drug cartel videogame where your goal is just to stay alive or experience incredibly painful executions? It could be really exciting, your dialogue tree could end up killing you instantly or could empower you also you would need to get social points with various factions but could ally with near unlimited groups. It could be totally Hardcore Mode where if you die ever in the game you have to restart. Just something really edgy and flavorful like that.
