It's funny how you can tell something is pozzed just from the subcontext of the poster. Just try to locate the White man. Deliberately relegated to the back corner mostly out of sight, while an interracial couple is front and center. The black man is a doctor with a lab coat, showing that blacks are smart and capable. And the centerpiece is a strong, powerful mulatta woman.

Human sacrifice isn't necessarily le bad. Not much difference between executing your captured enemies via firing squad vs. cutting their hearts out at the temple. The issue of course is that this progressed to needing so many sacrifices the empire had to enslave their neighbors and take a blood tax from their subjects, which was ultimately their downfall because everyone was obviously angry that the sun priests stole their family members to sacrifice, which is of course fricked up. But just sacrificing captive enemies isn't that bad to me.

Yep, anon "ZOG" was clearly a thing in Avatar. Clearly, it was a movie about JQ cleverly disguised as a "manifest destiny" critique by master manipulator and future Führer Cameron.

Yeah, it's a fictional world where the rules work differently.
This was one of the problems with the humans in the film. They couldn't differentiate the navi from human savages.
Like they thought their spirit tree was religious mumbo jumbo but it was actually legit.
The scientist lady tried to explain this to them, but they didn't listen.

It's a neat idea, granted. But that's way too smart for Mr. "But who lays the eggs." Cameron. The movie was clearly about what you've identified it to be.

Did you know that sickness - such rabies - and a potpourri of parasites - such as tapeworms - are widely contracted by wildlife? It's not exclusive to humans and civilizations. In fact, I'd make a better case arguing the contrary.

No, "unobtanium" is a moniker used in engineering for materials that are needed for concept to work, but don't exist in real life.

The key point is that the material DOES NOT EXIST.
In the Avatar universe, the superconductor definitely exists, so it would either be named after the discoverer, or they would have the privilege of naming it themselves.
And it would not be called unobtanium.

What does the average person achieve? The average goy stands at a register or sits in a chair staring at a screen for 8 hours a day, barely making ends meet paying rent for property he does not own, and that's his life. It's only really good for the elites who have more human cattle slaves than would be possible in an agrarian society. For the vast majority of people, they'd be better off living in a natural environment with low population, plenty of space and plenty of unpolluted resources. For someone like Bezos, this would be an utter nightmare because he'd have 1/1000000 the human cattle to exploit and be far less wealthy.

Living in the woods is boring. The suffering that civilization causes is a price that is worth paying, even if the project is going to fail. Both success and great tragedy are outcomes that I would welcome, because they're exciting.

Civilization doesn't necessitate excessive industrialization, though it is of course the natural outcome unless it's deliberately stopped. For instance, you can have a community of self-sufficient subsistence farmers. That's civilization. You don't need to frack up huge swathes of land and dump factory runoff into the rivers, poisoning every fricking thing around until your actual blood is toxic. There are levels to this.

achieve what? and towards what end? The best answers I get to this is medicine and comfort and excess. But again to what end? a surplus in resources will just create a population boom and an increasing need for recourses in a vicious cycle. Just throwing out the word "achieve" doesn't invalidate that way of life, especially because (being romanticized as frick as noble savages by the white liberal homosexual cameron) they have a living tree goddess who they chose to stay with even after coming to contact with human technology. A simple life is enough, no need to min max. Again, people were so drawn to that world for a reason, they crave that.

Na'vi massacre was economical, 'caust was political going back to the derangement of a handful of men.
                >derangement caused by WWI and failure of Weimar republic, both were economical

Also animals sometimes kill only for their own sadistic fun.

Human civilization was unsustainable. Which is why they destroyed their own planet and started destroying another.
The Na'Vi have super convenient biology that lets them live sustainable fulfilling lives without the need for technology.
If they want to fly they can plug themselves into a big bat. If they want lights they just pick up some bio-luminescent plant. If they're dying they download themselves into a tree.
Humanity will probably burn itself out in space while the Na'Vi are still living happily.

I can't wait for the HFYHispanic meltdown when they reveal in the last movie that na'vi are eldar or some shit, and Pandora is some sort of garden world their space-faring ancestors made

analogy doesn't really work when humans are closer to bugs than the na'vi are

      >earth is doing great
Kek, Avatar Earth is literally a ZOG wet dream.
      >wear the mask
      >live like bugs
      >eat bugs
      >own nothing
