the animation was pretty good for a Canadian cartoon.
Canadian cartoons usually had at least decent animation, before they started making every cartoon in flash infested with shitty tweens that make people think the country was always bad at making cartoons.

I once had a fever dream that Disney bought the rights to Ned's Newt and for some unGodly reason, replaced Mickey Mouse with him in all of their marketing, and went twice as aggressive with the insistence of his presence in all of their media.
They already have their own Ned’s Newt.

I swear on my life the only episode of this show that would show up here in Mexico was the pilot late in the evening. IIRC there's a Latin American dub but I don't ever recall seeing any episodes beyond quite literally just the pilot.
Speaking of fever dream, I remember seeing promos for this show before it premiered where the newt was PURPLE. Anyone else?
