Yeah when Harry Potter blew up in the late 90s, right when the movies were announced, I remember thinking shouldn’t Gaimen look into if these guys are playwriting Tim Hunter
Is this the comic where a guy that looks like the Crypt Keeper says he had his fairy wife killed and taxidermized because she was either aging or wanted to leave him?
Might have been the ongoing that followed it, this one has a British kid being toured around the magic side of DC by Mr. E, Dr. Occult, Constantine, and the Phantom Stranger.
Back in the 90s there was a local company that imported comics from all kinds of labels. I knew frickall at the time and thought they were mostly obscure. Only now do I realize I was seeing DC ads in Marvel books.

Yep, this collects the 4 issue miniseries, the on-going is the one with the fae 'wife.'
To the extreme!
Mid book hard carried by the art.
True. The out of place Constantine wank is weird when compared to what he was doing in Hellblazer at the time.
I'm not a fan of the painted art. The book was a pretty cool showcase of the magic side of DC.
same goes for every sandman universe book.
Get the frick out of here.
Also I hate how no one's ever done anything with the metafictional angle of DC's magic that Gaiman was doing.

Let me guess; because she had a full bra and was not drawn in anime-style?
I must say Morrigan looked worse but Felicia had her derpy moments too.
This German cartoon is about a girl named bella with a vegetarian vampire boyfriend fighting an evil vampire clan.
Is there a werewolf boy to fill out a love triangle?

Not a SU book, lurk moar.
Magical boarding school stories had been around for decades
Not sure how most of these people aren't aware of the Worst Witch
Cinemaphile doesn't read comics. Are you surprised they don't read books either?
Troll came out in 1986 though.
This comic is better than anything coming out today from the big 2.
