>Getter 2 is for air combat/speed >Getter 1 is the mid >Getter 3 is for water combat/tank >Basically Getter G but a few redesign >Getter forms are actually balanced instead of relying on Getter 1
They aren't really balanced as getter-1 is explicitly the weakest since they took the flight role and ranged fire it normally has and gave it to getter-2.
Fair. But I think most figures I've seen of Neo Getter 1 is with a gun, and a knife. I think they could have balance N-Getter 1 is with it having more weapons.
>with a gun, and a knife
That's because Neo-1 quite literally only has the chain knuckle and plasma thunder in Shin Vs Neo which makes for a boring figure compared to other Getter-1s.
I think Neo/Go Getter is the worst Getter because it is just a very "Gundam"-like robot. It relies on pure technology instead of cool and terrifying space cancer ray. Eyecandy design but lacks the special edge other Getter Robos have.
But that's why people like it. It's an outlier just doing it's best among its cosmic horror powered contemporaries.
To be fair, Neo Getter with Getter Rays is just Getter G with a different design. Although, I do like Neo Getter's design. It's sorta like how New Getter had Getter 1 be a combination of the original Getter Robo and Shin Getter.
Chain Knux rules though
Neo Getter 1 was the weakest as other anons stated. Which is sad. It can't fly, just jump high, and no weapons in the OVAs.
And they are infinately worse than Neo-2's Drills and Plasma Swords or Neo-3's fists and tornado.
Neo Getter 2 was probably the best form of Neo Getter.
>Getter 2 is for air combat/speed >Getter 1 is the mid
That highlights just how unbalanced Neo Getter is since the original had Getter-1 as the flyer with moderate speed while Getter-2 was the ground fighter but was the fastest to balance it out.
Speaking of Dragon. I full like Shin Dragon G feels like a more better designed Shin Getter. But that's just me not being a fan of Shin Getter except when its color is black,
Yeah, best Getter Design, let's put the flight powers on the high mobility form and make 3 an actual fricking bruiser who can fight. 1 while its certainly the most niche form of the 3 still has a clear purpose in the form of being the one with the Mech's clear finisher, wish it wasn't swapped out for just another lame run of shin getter. Its way better than how most getters usually play out of 1 does all the work 2 is sometimes used to get places slightly faster or to dodge before Getter 1 gets super busted and 3 sometimes maybe shows up. Neo Getter's one of the few Getters with actual balance between the 3 forms where you can actually point to why each one exists.
>Neo Getter's one of the few Getters with actual balance between the 3 forms where you can actually point to why each one exists.
It's not, as [...] pointed out.
>1 while its certainly the most niche form of the 3 still has a clear purpose in the form of being the one with the Mech's clear finisher
It's doesn't since 3 has it's own version of the finisher and 2's swords are just as strong so 1 literally has no role or purpose.
I agree with the other anon, Neo-Getter 1 is kinda weak compared to the others. N-G1's figures has it have a gun/knife. The OVAs just had Neo Getter 1:
>show has Shikishima with a gatling gun >SRW R gave it that gun as a proper weapon
seven years later >Yamaguchi: "You know what this Neo Getter 1 Revoltech needs: a P90..."

Neo Getter is a weird mix of G Getter and Getter Go.
Neo-1 is basically a worse version of Go with nothing from Dragon.
Neo-2 has all the best parts of Sho and Liger with some stuff from Dragon.
Neo-3 is more Poseidon with tank treads from Gai.
nah its not
shame it got ditched for the most boring version of Shin Getter Robo in the franchise
I think it's pretty fly
That's Go, not Neo.
>no tank legs on Getter 3
何かださい…
>not actually watching the fricking OVA before running his goddamn mouth
"roller skates are a car" delusions
Plasma Thunder is the coolest finisher name ever to me.
it's up there
It's bog standard engrish redundancy
>Flame Fire!
>Shining Flash!
>Wet Whater!
Woo, how exciting.
Nothing beats Stoner Fricking Sunshine.
Here's a redundancy:
>homosexual !
I like how 2 has half of the stuff 1 normally has to show Hayato is petty.
>Getter 2 is for air combat/speed
>Getter 1 is the mid

Feels like it was intentional with Hayato designing it.

Neo is fundamentally Getter Go G
With all the functions of Dragon and Go removed.
Speaking of Dragon. I full like Shin Dragon G feels like a more better designed Shin Getter. But that's just me not being a fan of Shin Getter except when its color is black,

>>Shin Dragon G feels like a more better designed Shin Getter.
It is the successor of Getter Dragon. If Shin Getter looks like that then it defeats the whole point of its design language and story context.
Getterpill: Shin Getter is mainly built like Getter Robo Go, but its head and color scheme are OG Getter.
Shin Getter supposed to look like OG Getter instead of Getter Dragon.
I like Neo Getter 1's blue and black color scheme

Nope. Neo-3 also can use that finisher.

Neo Getter-1 getting a firearm was sorta something it inherited from Getter Go. A P90 isn't quite as cool as the crazy shotgun from the manga.

>watched the OVA 3 times
>but never noticed that Neo has a mustache until I played SRW GC
>Mexican Getter
Honestly, what's your anons' thoughts on this version of the Getter Go team? I prefer this Go over Armageddon.
I mean this Go was an actual character rather than a plot device, so you know he's got that going for him.
Best version of this team for the simple fact that it's only version of the team that didn't job for Ryoma
I wish we got to see more of the Neo Getter's world. It had the coolest set up and the best animation of all the Getter adaptations.
Of course it does, it's only 4 episodes long
