Yfw Japan liked it and the only people upset are uppity weebs hoping sunrise will do something with it which they don't and have not done anything with it or big o for 20 years.
>how did they think people would like this?
pretty sure they didn't. they expected negative press and controversy to get them a certain amount of views. that's really the only marketing strategy they have left now.
Yes, they did. Vicious abused her until she snaps. Then she shoots Spike out a window (and fricking Green Bird plays as he falls). She also traps Vicious in a basement and takes over the syndicate.
It was a show no one asked for. If you liked the anime you're most likely going to be skeptical of a cheap looking live action version and if you don't know Cowboy Bebop then it's just some crappy show which doesn't offer anything to new comers.
oh mannn I remember the taiwanese version of this being so big in my country. You literally cannot avoid it. If you hang around with some girls you will end up watching it and some of the guys started ironically watching it but then it's the only thing we talked about when we get underage drunk. Good times.
Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving streaming service.

Japan did not like it. They kept referring to Cho as that old guy.
That was meant as a sign of affection, japanese have a lot of respect for their elders.
It's nice when the bad guys lose
I hate Netflix. I really do.
bang
>titless mystery meat
>60 year old comedian chink supposed to be badass fighter
>literally autistic ed
how did they think people would like this?
SPIKE SPIEGEL
They went to a con to gauge the homosexuals and weirdos there and their interests

Didn't you watch the original?
She communicated in random stupid noises instead of speech, she couldn't walk properly, she hung out with the dog, her arms were flailing noodles.
she was eccentric and cartoonish, not straight up "le spork XD" autism
yeah exactly my thought
autistic ed
Perfect casting. That character was always dogshit for pedophiles
for me it was needed comedic relief
ed was fun autistic, the actress in the show was just autistic
more like Cowboy Flop
>American "localization"/adaptation
>Just throw a billion swear words for their manbaby audience to clap at
I hate Burgers like you wouldn't believe
I can't believe they thought anyone would like the terrible lines they wrote. Nobody takes like that and it's not even funny.

I'm still mad that they bullied her and made her evil.
Did they really? Jesus, what a joke. I’m glad I passed on that one.
Yes, they did. Vicious abused her until she snaps. Then she shoots Spike out a window (and fricking Green Bird plays as he falls). She also traps Vicious in a basement and takes over the syndicate.
>they posed the beaner upside down to chinkify her eyes
cant even make this shit up holy smokes my guy
Someone post the CN doodle

I think so.

Netflix adapted the wrong anime
This story prints money and makes women go crazy

This and Alita: Battle Angel are the only anime I know where the live action remakes are more popular.
I didn't hate it. Maybe they shouldn't have called it cowboy bebop.
Change a bunch of names and just say it is inspired by the anime.
I liked it, but I didn't watch the anime, its a cool show if you forget about the anime.
t. Netflix
>its a cool show if you forget about the anime.
What's the point of making an adaptation in the first place, then?
big fan of this getting dragged back into the discussion so I can shit on it.
