She seems more concerned with how this new information recontextualizes everything she thought she knew about her parents. It looks like this revelation will go a long way toward repairing the bridge between them because we can already see Alfie realizing that she her mother isn't the evil witch she thought she was.
At this point I am mostly curious how long Vera will continue to think that Alfie is strictly a lesbian, when she really just sleeps with everyone, and the resolution to the shit the goblins are up to.
