I watched the Kiff Halloween episode, I think it's one of the best episodes yet. The song is probably the weakest part, drags on too long and isn't that fun to listen to imo, but there's a lot of funny cuts and gags in this one. Kiff fans should be quite pleased with this half-hour special.
I am continuously charmed by the show's attention to detail and small callbacks — minor background characters almost always keep their original voices (like Nick Namé, the horse high-schooler, the possum lady, etc.), and Roy Fox references a line from "Pool Party" that naturally fits his character. Kiff and Barry's relationship is again a highlight, showing how their stark contrast in personalities makes their friendship dilemmas fun and endearing.
I want to compile a list of how many times it's happened in the show, but Kiff's natural talent for BS'ing her way through a situation by improvising and ad-libbing is one of my favorite aspects of her character. She does it so often and with confidence, either for selfish reasons or to help someone else out, and it works great with her energetic personality.
Love this show, if anyone is looking for a comfy, low-stakes comedy cartoon, this is definitely worth checking.

Candle and Billiam are implied to hang out a lot, including for sleepovers, so Roy is probably used to him being around his house more than other characters. Billiam so far has barely interacted with anyone besides Candle, which I hope doesn't stay that way for the whole show. He could be funny enough as a stand-alone supporting character for an episode or two, like how Candle/Trevor/Reggie/the school staff have been.

Out of the 10 classmates that Kiff and Barry have in Ms. Deer Teacher's class, the order of relevance for each character so far has been kinda like this:
Candle/Trevor (multiple starring episodes)
(some supporting roles)>>Renée/Billiam(some dialogue but never focused on)>>>>the rest of the classmates(very few spoken lines, if any)
Candle gets a lot of focus for being the sassy, rich-girl type, and Trevor/Reggie are used a lot for when they need a weirdo character for the plot. Renée and Billiam are mostly just there to float around other characters (Billiam with Candle, Renée with Reggie/Patty sometimes). Some classmates will probably never get fleshed out at all, there's too many to make all of them interesting, really. But Billiam and Renée have some stuff to work with at least. I just wish Candle and Trevor weren't played the favorites so often.

Alright I watched my first HOI episode and it was nice! I'm probably missing some impact not knowing what's already happened in the story, but I don't think I would've given the show a shot without this combined thread, so hey.
I did passively watch the first HOI episode when it premiered, and I remember not being a big fan of Beta's character. That's still the same for me, something about his voice and lines I dislike. Scott's almost too much of an extraordinary dumbass but he's very entertaining to me. I can see the potential for the side characters to be a lot of fun as well. Hailey's mom and Becker were barely in these episodes but their scenes were pretty good.
My bias towards Kiff will probably always make me enjoy it more than other shows but like, imo pretty much all of these current DTVA shows give me the same vibes of SOL comedy and charm. They're all just slightly different flavors of charm to me. Maybe that's why certain people just don't like the network in general, there's admittedly less variety in styles with this line-up compared to something like, Cartoon Network or Nick in the 2000s, I guess.

Nooshy gets referred to as "riff raff" as an insult in her movie, so I added some Ks to it and that's it! 'Kiff Kaff' — sounded fun to say, lol

-Newgrounds would also likely give you trouble for small lewd cute characters, they also recently switched images to Webp format so that sucks now.
-Pixiv you need to censor things, but you can post whatever you want.
-Baarag allows everything but is now invite only I think, plus they compress your images.

It's a real pain that Baraag still requires you to request an account and that you have to be an artists to make one. By the looks of it if you make an account on a general mastadon server it would still work on Baraag, but I don't know how reliable that is and if that was the case I don't think they'd have made such a big deal of closing registration in their side of things.

A whole lot of it changed from when the last time I've been over there, I'm guessing that, following after one incident when one of the twittergays discovered Baraag, which led to a massive overload of twittergays making a throway account just to shit on artists for posting e-girl/shota/cub art until the mods and admins there put a stop on allowing anyone to create an account.

These ratings always feel kind of like a screwed way to measure interest. I mean, Principal Dance Socks is the lowest rated Kiff episode? The episode before it was Hat / Lost and Found. Was that episode disliked or something? By the way the episode that followed right after Principal Dance Socks was the highest rated episode it makes me think that the episode must have done very well in reruns but did poorly because the reception to the episode before it was bad.

The show seems to be doing well rerun wise because Disney Channel reruns it pretty frequently. Not as often as Miraculous or Big City Greens, but that it's rerun at all must mean something there. No other Disney animated series but Big City Greens or Miraculous gets rerun.

Now that's a disappointment. I'd have hoped to see the crew trying to raise interest in the series and interest throughout the first season and in the wait for the second season. Though I guess with the way Disney released Moon Girl I could see that feeling like an uphill battle. Still, some cute and fun crew art could have helped at least a little bit.
I wonder if the crossover will be with Sam Witch (likely) or StuGo considering that the latter is also done at Titmouse.

Candle's relationship with Reggie isn't particularly strong so yeah, in that instance both of them were just trying to 1-up Kiff in a competition. Candle as a character "tolerates" most of her classmates instead of outright hating them. She's actually pretty close with Billiam (and more recently, Trevor) but since Billiam isn't as prominent as Reggie, the Reggie/Candle pairing happens fairly often in episodes.

Is there not an extended version out there somewhere? Big City Green's opening is only about thirty seconds but that's still ten more than Kiff's opening. That one gets a lot of Theme Song Takeovers though so I think they can make something work with Kiff's theme if they wanted to.
kiff soundtrack has an extended opening but it barely adds any words. they could make up words to go along with the beat or something. considering how much music they put into the show, i'm pretty sure the creators can make it work.
Oh yeah, that's more than enough material to work with. They come up with lyrics for the Big City Greens ones and that opening is a lyric free song so they for sure can for Kiff. Especially since Kiff actually is a show with songs in it. If they let the people behind the songs in that series do anything that is. Which is a bit of a question. I'm not sure who they get to do the songs for these Theme Song Takeovers.

I like HOI but it feels like its in danger of being a flop. I hope it at least gets a second season since even Floppa McGee got one. What pains me is that its a somewhat heartwarming show but its also the cheapest looking piece of shit cartoon sometimes too, to the point where it makes even Hamster and Gretel look like they're trying.

Maybe not all day but Big City Greens gets nearly six hours of the day. Mix that with about three hours of Miraculous and Kiff each and I think you end up with a pretty decent schedule. With an hour or so a day they use for random reruns of Molly, Hailey, or Moon Girl and I think it ends up alright. Sure, I wish they reran more of their lesser shown shows more, but it's got some variety.
That's decent. Bad timing for me as I usually check and Bunk'd, Miraculous, or Bluey is on.
All of this stuff is online, so it doesn't really matter.
That's fair. I mean, about three hours of the Big City Greens and about an hour of Kiff and Miraculous each is running from one AM to six AM. So unless you are a night owl, you aren't going to be seeing most of that. The rest of the day has the mix of movies, live action, and Disney Jr stuff that means I change the channel and watch History Channel or something else. It's not perfect, but it's a lot better than it was about a year or two ago. Before it was about four hours of Big City Greens and about two of Miraculous and that was it. One hour of each in the early morning and the rest throughout the midday. Unless it was Saturday or Sunday you weren't seeing anything of other shows and you weren't getting much of Big City Greens and Miraculous either. But over the last two years or so they've been giving more time slots to their animated series. It looks like they're slowly moving towards supporting their animated stuff more. It's a slow move, but it's a move.
The Disney schedule has never come close to being as bad as the CN schedule at least.
Truuue, I think Disney’s line-up since the mid 2010s onward has been better than both CN and Nick, they,be made a shit ton of cartoons that are all mostly decent. Some stuff I completely forget exists, like the Tangled/Big Hero 6 shows, or some older ones of the past decade like Kick Buttowski. Their shows all have distinct styles too, animation-wise
