They really should have just milked all the big introductions instead of jamming everything together. Everything was pretty well acted though. First ep should have been 40 minutes or an hour even imo.
Niles son should have been introduced later like daphne was.
It has potential. I would like to know why Niles isn't there. It's comfy and cute. That's what Frasier should be. Also the right thing to do when bringing back a franchise like this is to have legacy characters kinda mentor new characters that the narrative is about. I think having it about Frasier and Niles kids is the right move.
They have a very good relationship, basically the whole cast has. Pierce just feels like that the character of Niles is finished and he doesn't want to take on that character anymore.
Niles did a video praising him a few years back in a ceremony video. John Mahoney, Kelsey and David were all close on set, I think
As for the show, it actually was better than I had anticipated. It's not old frasier, but I had a few chuckles and there was a few heart warming scenes.
I really needed a show I could watch that was relatively free of violence and cussing so I'm happy. The scene with the flag has me choked up. I've been through a lot of funerals this year.
Yeah I read his sister was raped and murdered and he's never been the same since. He recently has been very friendly to Christianity and his performance of Scrooge was genius. His old wife produced it...it was done so beautifully.
I really liked the second episode. But of course, it does follow the same beats of the original a little too much.
Frederick won me over in the second episode, but the other characters are going to have to be more than just old Frasier characters repackaged.
>excited for some soulless cash grab streaming revival
have a nice day
I think they could have done better with the new apartment.
I hate it. Seattle Frasier would've hated it.
Nah it's kinda cozy. It just makes no sense that the ADULT son with a baby would move back in.
I think it's way too busy.
>son with a baby
Frederick? He doesn't have a baby.
I can get used to it, people change.
Care to explain about that Orlando wine thing?
I accidentally watched the second episode first! My wife already watched them and we share the same account...
I hate when that happens, watching some other episode instead of the first when starting a new show.
Does your wife like the original Frasier show?
I don't know. She's at church. I'll ask when she comes back
Orlando is a tourist place...criticized for being kinda unauthentic. You're not going to have high quality wine according to Frasier.
I see, thank you.
I feel dumb! The lady is his roommate!! Now it makes sense!!
I guess he's in Boston.
He just roasted Orlando wine. Lmao it has humor a lot of foreigners aren't going get.
Worse than Orlando Wine it was Orlando Scotch
*Scootch
Terrible.
You'd think they'd have the cliche view at least.
The old apartment was so cool despite the modern art.
Why was Frasier so into African sculptures of fat breasts and dicks?
His character was a snobby, semi famous liberal. He loved modern art.
I just realized he kept his father's chair!
He paid a lot for it.

I like his chemistry with his son but it's sad and pathetic how the son moved back in.
The new bar is really cute. I like the British guy he shares an office with and I like the office.
The lady is doing all the work taking care of the baby
Grammar is still in excellent form comedically.

Niles son should have been introduced later like daphne was.
Yeah it's pretty relaxing to watch...do you know if they're going to bring any old characters back? I miss them
>Niles son should have been introduced later like daphne was.
Why is he moronic?
He's Niles's SON what do expect
I dont think they should have had niles' son do physical comedy. that and whatever that phone introduction were was a mistep imo.
They really could have just introduced him with his mom in a later episode.
It would be nice if they left room to have returning cheers cast members too, sort of just a season of posse cuts like picard turned into season 3.
shit, even showing up to the set of cheers now and then would be wild.
or flying out of the airport from wings

Yeah that's a great idea! Too bad Kierstly Alley died...she'd be great. Isn't Cheers based in Boston? They could visit the old haunt
The humor is so good! The black lady and British guy are insanely funny!
One nice thing about the brit, is we are going to get a lot of cold sarcasm, which is going to be fun for fraiser to respond to.
hopefully these folks have complicated backstories, so we can get some good back and forth
Frazier used to have a big British audience... I wonder if they will be able to win that audience back

Niles is a homosexual irl maybe he wants to just do homosexual stuff
Ya Kelsey is kinda based actually. Maybe they don't have the best relationship.

That reminds me of Harrison Ford. He frikkin hated Han Solo imho

The stuff about Martin visiting Freddy after his friend died got me choked up. I like that it still has room for some well executed sitcom drama.
God it's making me choke up. I'm watching that part now. God, I miss that character. Wtf
My grandfather's flag went to my brother. I told him he's supposed to put it in a triangle. I miss him so much

Pop Quiz what is this
That's the print he has in the little tucked away area.
Yep. It sold for 19 mill

Frederick won me over in the second episode, but the other characters are going to have to be more than just old Frasier characters repackaged.
I feel like the show has room to grow into a symbiotic relationship with the audience
