You would THINK a movie Chris Evans AND Ryan Gosling agreed to star in and had the screenplay written by Markus and McFeely would be halfway competent. I've seen an early screener. It fricking sucks.
You lie.
I feel like it's gonna be Terminal List vibes. Kinda cheesy but the Goose carries it like always. ur trying to say picrel is not gonna be kino?
It's kinda obvious the movie's gonna be shit. The movie releases Friday and there are still no reviews for the movie. In fact, they're withholding the review embargo until the last minute.
The review embargo lifts 9am on Thursday, July 14th, the same day that performances begin in preview in limited release.
This isn't a big IP release that could cause concern for spoilers on the internet. If a studio does this, it's because they lack confidence in the movie.
I appreciate the breakdown anon but >If a studio does this, it's because they lack confidence in the movie.
So they did focus group testings and normies didn't like it. Probably means it's kino.
Who knows? I might like it. But there's a hugh chance it might also be a trainwreck and I agree with the normies. Hopefully it's at least funny to watch.
>This isn't a big IP release
It's not but it is based on a long running series of successful novels. And I could've sworn I read that they're planning on making this a series/shared universe if this does well.
They’re the highest grossing directors in history. Because they pulled some insider magic and landed the avengers movies. Everything they do is garbage, not that it matters, the director is irrelevant in marvel shit.
How the frick did You, Me, and Dupree get them so deep in the Hollywood machine? They must have some shit like a tape of Owen Wilson, Matt Dillon, and Kate Hudson sacrificing a Black baby to Satan.
They did TV work for years before getting in the Marvel machine. The TV model is basically the same as what Marvel does: be anonymous journeymen and turn in footage on time. It helped that they did the Community paintball episode, which showed they could handle action sequences.
Ah yes, a sitcom paintball episode. The perfect precursor for receiving more money than anyone else in history so you can have a bunch of actors run around an empty airport.

I’m gonna go with “not,” moron. They got the job through political maneuvering. Their filmography could’ve consisted of taking an exceptionally steamy double shit on top of Tom Hanks’ hairy chest, and they still would have landed it.
Maybe I’m not the best judge but no way are any of those even close to top 4. Winter soldier maybe, but, shocking, it was so poorly crafted the decent story couldn’t save it. Same frenetic shit pacing as civil war, with the same boring set pieces.
Its terrible, when some American guy talks to the posh elite British prick in London I couldn't finish it. Felt like a cartoon. Action books are all terrible. The Bourne novels which are Peake action/thriller are just mediocre. Also the plot revolves around some African warlord being angry that the gray man killed his brother nonsense.
>digits
frick that looked trash.Could be fixed though. The fricking pajeet was anti-kino. They're fricking marketing to India aren't they. we're fricked

poorly written Pajeet comments with 6 trillion likes is gonna be the most kino part of this release I guess. How did they frick it up so bad? Russo's aren't that fricking incompetent
>"We need a minority character for our 200 mil $ movie" >"Yes Sir... I'm on it" >"Oh and he needs to shit in the river" >"W-what?" >"Shits. In a river. No exceptions" >"Sir I found a potential cand-- BLarrrgfhhh"
This is what happens wham Americans like a culture but then absolute frick it up in their crappy adaptations. Atleast higher some hong kong directors and choreographers if you're going to mimic them.
Hmm this looks interesting-
>russo brothers
nvm i'm out
They were involved in one good movie: Extraction. The rest is below dreck.
Choose wisely young man
Left
Alright anons; you're all on the honor system here. No 'The Gay Man' memes.
The Gay Man, hehe
>People keep asking if I'm gay and I haven't really had an answer, but yeah, I'm thinking I'm gay!
he was grey in both appearance and demeanor.
odd looking duck
I love Goose, but this is doing nothing for me. I'm just gonna wait until Barbie comes out.
You would THINK a movie Chris Evans AND Ryan Gosling agreed to star in and had the screenplay written by Markus and McFeely would be halfway competent. I've seen an early screener. It fricking sucks.
🙁 Why was it bad?
>Barbie
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'M HEARING ABOUT THIS
Bruh...
You lie.

Breh, the Goose is on the loose. It's gonna be a sight to behold regardless. I look forward to the Cinemaphile threads
That shitty Netflix movie "Red Notice" was apparently a hit with normies. Can't imagine this film could possibly be any worse
>This isn't a big IP release

That makes withholding the movie for spoilers even more unlikely. The spoilers are already out there if you want to read them.
more like the gay man heh
HOLY SHIT LMAO, GOOSEBROS WE JUST FRICKING LOST! THE homosexual MAN!
>Russo brothers
Shit. What the frick happened to the goose? First woke Barbie, now he’s dropped down to fricking TV, and with those capeshit hacks
This was the first thing I thought. I know nothing about the Russo Brothers except that people hate them. Why?

They are miserable c-tier filmmakers who got handed the reigns of the big MCU movies which people here pretend are anything other than dogshit
There are four good MCU movies and they made two of them.
Maybe I’m not the best judge but no way are any of those even close to top 4. Winter soldier maybe, but, shocking, it was so poorly crafted the decent story couldn’t save it. Same frenetic shit pacing as civil war, with the same boring set pieces.
>3 screenwriters
if it wasnt for goose i would hardly skip this
Anyone else read the book?
Yeah, it fricking sucks just like every other cheap airport novel.
Airport novels can be fun. Crichton and Clancy both come to mind.
Crichton and Clancy are miles above airport novels. Fricking zoomer.

You'd think Gosling reuniting with Ana de Armas would have Cinemaphile pissing itself, but it's been crickets
>now, don't laugh at the next part...
>Albert Fish chose his victims who were either mentally handicapped or African-American
you're thinking like Albert Fish now
More like Albert Goose
Goslingbros, I don't feel so good
>digits
frick that looked trash.Could be fixed though. The fricking pajeet was anti-kino. They're fricking marketing to India aren't they. we're fricked
Holy frick that looks like garbage
It's over
Dhanushbros stay winning

Yes they are, moron.
Cringe as frick
pretty trash. the frantic cartoon choreography and camera and fedora beckon was really bad, i thought it was gonna be a more serious movie
Gotta pick the ugliest looking Indian they can find. South Indian sub humans actually love this trash.

>a russo brothers film
the yes men who put their name to avengers movies?
who cares
does anyone know what jacket that is? i need to buy it
>Netflix original
It has a 1100% chance of being terrible.
>Budget $200 Million
I watch for she
OH NO NO NO
Why does Goose have a goatee? Is this trying to go all in on the boomer crowd? They don't watch Netflix.
Hahaha the gay man
>Starring: Dhanush
Who the frick?
I literally wish I never heard that name. India fricking ruins everything. I just wanted some comfy goose operator kino. maybe they kill him early on
>With a production budget of $200 million, it is the most expensive film ever made by Netflix.
And to think we could've had a Dredd sequel for just the 10th of that budget.
>Ryan Gosling as Court Gentry, aka Sierra Six
>the fricking russo brothers
>kino
LMFAO Gosling. What Chazelle does to a mf
>Chazelle
What? or who is that
heck yes
I honestly mixed up Russo brothers with Safdie brothers and expected Uncut Gems-like experience out that movie.
I fricking hate Chris Evans
