The next Batman film should be 4 hours of Bruce Wayne suffering an existential crisis. In my vision, he doesn't actually put on the cowl or fight any crime once throughout the film since it's more about his relationship with violence.
It would be juxtaposed with Joker being a television show host who's running a gameshow that's completely normal and ordinary, like Jeopardy, and Alfred would have a subplot where he's abusing pain meds but Bruce doesn't care.
I like that most of Gotham's criminals are black.
