New producers joining a project. Horror movie legend.

When a big name is added to a project during production that you weren't expecting does it make you excited? I wouldn't have guessed MIKE FRICKING FLANAGAN would show up, this is honestly really really exciting. He is such a big name in the horror genre.

remember when Eggers tried that with "the Northman"

I thought it was finished and rejected by film festivals.

it was rejected by SXSW and sundance, but accepted into fantasia fest (a C-grade festival)

I'm sure Critical Drinker will give a fair and honest review of Shelby Oaks. Probably a few cutaways of Peter Dinklage puking his guts out. One or two, tops.

Mike Flanagan is helping DISTRIBUTE the film under his company, not FINISHING the movie.

It's either going to be good or bad, let's wait and see, dummies.

Flanagan has Netflix and Hollywood connections which is half a producers role. Probably hoping for wider distribution.
