I hope they finish off the wall subplot and never return to it. The whole "Serious drama subplot in a wacky comedy" is such a fricking stupid cliche. I just want to laugh at aliens doing stupid shit.
Super hyped although I worry with them not trying to leave earth it might ruin the whole flow or something. Like if you don't have Karvo being a hard-ass will the show lose its structure or will it become even better? It worked for American dad. So maybe it will be alright.
It's nice that the wall people will finally be freed and have to deal with the real world. I hope they stay freed.
Although I wish the trailer didn't spoiler them getting out it would have been a cool surprise.
I am optimistic yet skeptical. I like the change for the wall people. But I don't like the change of them not wanting to leave anymore. It's like if Invader Zim stopped trying to take over earth.
Yeah, that's something I'm hoping the show addresses. The crew's done a great job depicting how a society would believably form and change over time in such a wild situation. There are definitely gonna have to be some Wallians who can't adapt to their old life.
I hope they finish off the wall subplot and never return to it. The whole "Serious drama subplot in a wacky comedy" is such a fricking stupid cliche. I just want to laugh at aliens doing stupid shit.
>Who the hell still watches rick and morty and spinoffs?
More than you think. It only feels dead right now because we're in the middle of a hiatus. Happens after every season. But as soon as that first S6 trailer arrives, you can bet Cinemaphile won't shut up about the show again.
*SLAP* the tiny people subplot is everything I hate about modern Cinemaphile shows and I want to send people like you to a psychiatric ward.
You know where you belong in? In India, that's where they appreciate soap operas and post apocalyptic shit. You are disgusting. You are a sociopathic maniac that wants to live in a post apocalyptic world where everything sucks. Your kind needs to be leashed and fed something way below dog food. Bugs and slugs is what we should give you.
I'm already barfing, I'm already sick to my stomach.
HOW CAN PEOPLE LIKE YOU MENTALLY FUNCTION WITHOUT COMMITTING SUICIDE?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
I bet you'd enjoy Hayup Ka you sick sick sick sick sick bastard.
I bet you rated Last Of Us a 9/10 you disgusting homosexual.
We can't have an utopia because of people like you who jack off to a dystopia. A dystopia sucks you fricking idiot you'll die, a dystopia is the reverse of evolution. You have parasites in your brain that tell you to act this way. You are a fricking gypsy/jew, all you do is yell "AAH AHH THE DRAMAA AAAHH I NEED MOAR DRAMA, COVER ME IN IT. AAAHHH THE MINIMALIST AMISH LIFE STYLE IS FOR ME AAAHHHH!!! AAHH MASTER/SLAVE MENTALITY, I CANNOT COMPREHEND ANY OTHER MENTALITY. AAAHHHH WE ALL NEED TO LIVE IN SHIIITTTT"
GO LIVE WITH THE AMISH AND THE INDIANS YOU FREAK.
I like solar opposites but 20 minutes is a stupid episode length, a standard 11 minutes would be much better considering how much filler there is right now
>filler
The point isn't to see the Pupa terraform the whole planet. It's to see the wacky aliens do stupid over-the-top shit. I wanna see Korvo and Yumyulack try and fail to fit in. I wanna see Jesse be a mindless little girl. I wanna see Terry indulge in another hyperfixation, with a new novelty shirt to go along with it. And I wanna see what crazy C-plot the Pupa's gonna get into.
Do they tho? Almost every episode shares an A- and B-plot with The Wall (technically the latter would be a C-plot since Terry/Korvo and Jesse/Yumyulack are typically split up), so I don't see how you feel the writers pad out the 22-minute run time. Stuff is always happening, and while shit does go up in flames in ridiculous ways, that's all in the nature of the show's writing & comedy style.
The only main gripe I've understood since the show started were the instances of fast-paced dialogue where it actually feels like the 22-minute run time isn't ENOUGH for the writers (same thing occasionally happens with Rick and Morty). Along with that, the pop culture references can get a little excessive at times. But aside from those two issues, the show's writing has been fine in my eyes.
Where did it all go so wrong? It used to be FUN watching the whole family interact, but now I basically only care about Citadel lore and whatever Morty or Jerry are doing in a given episode.
I like SO, its not the best thing ever but its quite fun.
this season looks like it will be a good one.
but you totaly baited me with the rick and morty pic frick you OP
Booooo
You fricking prick!!!
Solar Opposites S3 isn’t Ricardo and Mortimer S6
It's and entire show of the good bits of R&M. For those who don't give a FRICK about marriage crisis drame
I don't like either shows
meh, its leftover jokes from rick and morty.
With zero percent Dan Harmon. Which makes it infinitely more tolerable.
I like SO more than Rick & Morty.(post S3 anyway)
But S3 isn't even out yet
No, post-S3 of Rick & Morty
DUDE PICKLE RICK SZECHUAN SAUCE WUBBA LUBBA DUB DUBS GET SCHWIFTY SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT
Scud is reaaaal, Mharti.
I like Solar Opposites. does Cinemaphile only hate it because of its proximity to rick and morty?
personally, I just couldn't get interested in the main characters. The tiny people subplot was way more interesting.
the duality of anon
I miss yellow Pupa
I think most write it off because it's a Roiland joint, but most don't realize Harmon is nowhere involved in it which is a breather.

Some will probably go back into the wall when they realize how shitty their lives were outside it.
Yeah, that's something I'm hoping the show addresses. The crew's done a great job depicting how a society would believably form and change over time in such a wild situation. There are definitely gonna have to be some Wallians who can't adapt to their old life.
of course the reddit spacing b***h likes it
Bullshit, they would never drop a new season of Rick and Morty without like 3 months of ads.
I hope they finish off the wall subplot and never return to it. The whole "Serious drama subplot in a wacky comedy" is such a fricking stupid cliche. I just want to laugh at aliens doing stupid shit.
I heard Seasons 3 & 4 are gonna be 12 episodes each, so look forward to that I guess.
cute pupa
Neat!
joke's on you, I enjoy Solar Opposites more by this point
You didn't like Season 5?
Who the hell still watches rick and morty and spinoffs? the show got shit like season 2
>Who the hell still watches rick and morty and spinoffs?

Based on the Wall people escaping, I'm guessing the writers got bored with that subplot?
nicely done
Damn shit you got me
>more Ms. Frankie
I will now watch your Solar Opposites.
You're right, it isn't Rick and Morty.
It's better.
yes
Nice bait and switch.
Solar Opposite really is the better show in some ways.
Solar Opposites is more fun and doesn't take itself seriously. Rick & Morty is weighed down by familial drama.
What a pleasant surprise, I'll definitely check it out

I never said I wanted the overall plot to figure in at all, I'm just saying the induvial episodes have to stretch their plot to fill 20 minutes

It's like I'm watching Rick and Morty season 1 all over again!!!
>more of these two
Awesome, can't wait. Jesse and Yumyulack are way more engaging kid siblings than Summer and Morty post-S3.
Where did it all go so wrong? It used to be FUN watching the whole family interact, but now I basically only care about Citadel lore and whatever Morty or Jerry are doing in a given episode.
Writer's room putsch led by Harmon
Mother fricker, also he's right if you eat crepes and rims to much is not treat anymore
What the frick is wrong with the lip sync in this trailer?
This kinda shit always happens with trailers, but usually they're better at hiding it. Maybe this particular trailer was a rush job for Hulu?
The holiday special was kinda fun
I like SO, its not the best thing ever but its quite fun.
this season looks like it will be a good one.

Why is does Rick colored alien have the same voice and act the same way as Rick?
