I remember discovering this show in college while Season 1 was airing. The first two seasons, while it still used the shitty lo-fi cameras, produced dozens of inside jokes between my friends and I. You could tell that pretty much none of the guests knew what was going on either. Then the show absolutely blew up in popularity, and it's basically just an unfunny husk of its former self. Every single guest knows about the nature of the show now. Just fricking end it. It's sad at this point.

This show ended at its peak, at the end of season 3. I don't watch episodes of shows that don't exist anymore thanks
it's kinda crazy how if a show is genuinely good at any point, it can basically just exist as a shell in perpetuity taking advantage of the fans who still believe in the project
The nature of the show was to push things to their extreme right from the start, so by the end of season 2 they'd already taken the initial concept as far as it could go, which is why the decision to make the finale of season 3 nothing but the show's "worst" segment was so smart and the perfect place to end it. Everything since has just been wheels spinning.
This. The switch to High Definition cameras was a mistake, but season 3 still had a lot of funny bits. But everything after that has been shit. Any episode after the first initial band with the black trumpet guy & asian bass lady is a shit.
