I think its around Unicorn's scale. There's some interesting ideas in there, Durandal's a fascinating villain, Athrun returning to ZAFT with a new goal and mindset is interesting, but you can feel alot of the ideas don't really feel fleshed out, especially with how the middle portion kinda drags in my opinion. Personally, I think it picks up once Stella dies for me.
Destiny is interesting because as a sequels it actually does a really great job at extrapolating it’s premise from the conclusions and implications at the end of SEED. Ray is even proven kinda right. The issue is that Destiny doesn’t do a good job at carrying the baton passed to it.
It’s alright up until the end of the first quarter or third. Which is whenever Kira returns to battle.

For someone getting this worked up over some shitty plastic you sure are fricking out of the loop, there was an interview from Fukuda over a year ago now talking about the challenges Okawara was facing trying to design the new Freedom, Justice and other new suits (like a C.E. Gyan) because C.E. designs have gotten so ridiculous and that they felt CGI was the only option for the movie with these designs based on the dwindling number of experienced traditional animators. We know there's a new Freedom and that it's supposedly going to transform based on that interview.

Master Asia's scenario, where he says Kira and Athrun are too reliant on their machines and lacking skill. That's actually a criticism of Kira that's been in the Japanese community since SEED from what I understand, to the point they needed to redo his sortie in Cagalli's Strike in the Remaster because it was just pitiful in the original version.
If anything, if the leaks are true Fukuda is inadvertently admitting it. Kira's strength comes from using illegal weapons, and this is after illegal weapon usage was a part of AGE's finale, IBO's finale (and implications of the worldbuilding) and part of G-Witch's setup.
That's a really good scenario, btw. Kira ends up acknowledging that his methods undermine his message, to the point people don't take him seriously, while Athrun admits that his actions made people into his enemies.
That'd be a lot better writing than I expect from this setting. Would be nice.

The original might have been more impressive odds wise but all he really does is spam the rifle until the shield gets blown through. With Ootori he actually does some strategic moves like back in the old Strike days.

She did work for Morgenrote as her "day job" in Orb before heading back to AA. But I think Murrue was in the end just a minor tech chief that worked on the Gundam's without being a major part of their development

Remaster put clothes on Shinn in his Newtype hallucination and make Justice use the slashy rope things.
