This. It's the same shit they did in Ghostbusters 2016 (which Chris Hemsworth was also in). Just cram a bunch of "jokes" in and people will never stop laughing! Problem is, they never start laughing.
Why is this movie so fricking ugly? Why are they using greenscreen for every shot? Why are they using CGI for basic shit like helmets and hammers? Why is Disney so cheap with the movies they claim are saving movie theaters?
They can't have a serious moment either. Thats too awkward. Too much tension. You gotta make a quip, a nice wisecracking joke to relieve that tension!
I remember when Natalie Portman said she'd never do a greenscreen movie ever again after the Star Wars prequels, because she was a serious actor and too serious and talented for green screens.
seems it's easier to film shit like this if they ever do rewrites. like how originally in thor 3 odin was going to be living as a bum in new york, and in fact the first teaser shows hela breaking mjolnir in some urban alley. but in the finished movie they're in norway or something. cheaper to change the background than reshoot a scene, i guess
I get that it triggers you but there's no better example than a studio that gets bought by a major corporation then sold in a little over a year to some small reality tv channel that then goes and fires literally everyone who's been working there
Batman wasn't a green screen CGI fest. You can watch BTS videos of them on location. Pretty sure the script wasn't ad-libbed on the spot either, seemed like a traditionally shot and filmed movie.
It was mostly shot on location yes until covid hit then it got the greenscreen treatment and if Baman was the only movie WB ever released or in any way tied to the main DC universe you might have had a point

I mean, the greater example is Disney lmfao. They're not even failing yet they still produce their movies like cheap garbage. At least DC movies mostly aren't green screen, they have to try.

Yeah sure moron a better example of studio incompetence is definitely Disney and not the studio now owned by Discovery
Also is it the fact that the screen isn't actually green that's tricking your dumb ass or is it just your general stupidity?
Shazam and Aquaman were mostly shot on location too. It's pretty much just the MCU that's entirely green screen now. We can wait until Shazam 2 and Aquaman 2 come out, but I subscribe to the guy who makes the Shazam movies on YouTube and he's definitely not a green screen homosexual like Taika is.

No one denies WB is struggling. That's why they actually try with their movies. Disney having unstoppable success leads to them being cheap and lazy, and it shows.
It's the same with Pokemon. The games are shit because they know people will still buy them anyways.

Yes there's absolutely no better example of laziness than Disney they know at this point they can do anything and make a shitzillion dollars
But if it's insane levels of incompetence and a lack of organization then you can't do better than a studio that has some of the biggest IPs in the world and yet can't manage a single billion dollar movie in almost half a decade. Sony, Universal, Paramount no one comes close.

Disney is organized in the sense that they have assembly line film production down to a science. >action scenes are created years in advance without the director >everything is shot on green screen so it can be changed on a whim >reshoots are built into the budget/schedule now >no standards for CGI or special effects quality
The CGI industry is the verge of collapse. When that happens, Disney is going to be fricked.
For sure, especially because all the SFX an animatronics people got burned so hard. And they've now got unions (another reason why CGI is so heavily preferred by the big companies, they can overwork and underpay them as much as they want as they have no union)
Shouldn't they be hopping on the practical effects train soon if CGI is on the verge of collapse? Aren't pratical effects considered more impressive and are more celebrated by fans and critics anyways? I always thought practical stuff looks far more realsitic than CGI. CGI gets dated extremely quick but there's practical stuff from the 90s that still holds up today.
The CGI industry is on the verge of collapse mainly because of companies like Disney.
For comparison, the first Jurassic Park had 63 CGI shots. They were mainly reserved for full body shots of the dinos where using animatronics would have been impossible.
Spielberg was still shooting in real environments. The dinos had to be matched to lighting of the sets.
Whereas today, they would have recreated the environment in CG and used fake glamour lighting to might be prettier, but not realistic and therefore not believable.
You also the puppet dinosaurs captured on camera. This made it easier for the CGI artists to match their creations against the real thing.
The average blockbuster today has between 2000-3000 cgi effects shots.

A lot of CGI companies have gone bankrupt because how unsustainable the business model is.

They kicked the Chavez character out and replaced them Asian barron harkonen and a simple plot device.
If they just replaced AC with SW and had illuminati universe SW as the bad guy with dome hints if CTHON and midnight sons then the movie would have worked well.
But they used this as a vehicle to introduce three of the shit gay avengers kids, kill ALL potential IP like xmen FF and indirectly fricks the inhuman concept.
All to salt the earth so nothing can grow anywhere except at a plot of land growing alonzo/feige brand shitberries.
MoM initially had a mixed reception leaning towards negative with test audiences. The reports/rumours coming out that it was due to confusion towards where Wanda's at from people who didn't watch Wandavision, and also disliking the direction they went with Wanda as a straight up villain.
After the test screening they proceeded to do reshoots. Presumably to fix the issues and also apparently to add more cameos (which turned out to be false).
There's now been a bunch of reports/leaks/reveals about the original screening that test audiences saw and what was changed. Wanda's end was changed to a more redemptive ending/open ended ending so she could return, in order to make her seem less villainous. Some context was added regarding Wandavision, a bunch of horror elements were removed including a more grim looking dead body that Strange posssessed, all in order to make it more "family friendly" and the biggest change was America Chavez.
America was originally gonna be a lot more confident to the point of wieneriness, and a lot more outspoken and hot headed similar to her comics counterpart. She would know how to completely control her powers and at this point be on the run for a long time, having met multiple Stranges and thinking 616's was the worst and least competent. She would often come into conflict with Strange as to what to do next and it would have been depicted as a clash of two arrogant people wanting to take control and lead the situation. Their arc would have been learning to get along with each other, and Dr. Strange would have to learn to put his faith into other people to lead the situation.
So yeah test audiences hated her and thought she was the worst part of the movie. So they changed her to Dr. Strange's plucky young sidekick. Her arc instead became about being unable to control her powers and having to control them. Strange's became more about Christine as they added more Christine scenes and letting her go.
Oh and the Clea post credits scene was shoehorned in at the last minute thats why it seemed so rushed and out of the blue and doesn't match the final scene of the movie (Dr. Strange being like oh shit the darkhold has taken a hold of me, then in the post credits scene he's walking down the street again as if nothing happened).
So by shoving everything behind a green screen it makes editing stuff like this better. They just get America's actress back on set, throw the outfit on her, put her in front of a green screen and say 10 - 20 new lines which they just seemlessly edit into the old scenes while taking out her old lines.
Disney cut it to 2 hours to maximise gross before word of mouth killed it.
It imploded once word of mouth spread that it was a crap movie.

Probably. It was very much just wrong place wrong time for Multiverse of Madness and why it didn't do as well as they hoped. It shouldn't have been placed after No Way Home as that gave a lot of certain expectations. It should have also been marketed as MCU's first horror movie, not marketed about the cameos, and they shouldn't have given away Xavier and kept him a surprise as he was their biggest cameo and none others reached his hype level.
flash, shazam, shazam 2, black adam, wonder woman 1984, blue beetle, batgirl, the suicide squad aquaman 2 it will never end no matter how many flops. I fully expect the next DCfandome to announce a taika movie.

Brother, I can't tell you how excited I am for 2024.
IF it releases, it will have Ezra clumsily excised from it, it will be a bunch member-berries cameos floundering around in a shittily frankenstein'd movie (you DO remember Josstice League, right?) in search of a reason to exist, except there is absolutely no reason for it to exist at all.
The Batman franchise (the only one with long-term hope) has already completely moved on.
China tossed The Batman a paltry 23 mil, they aren't dumping 300 mil on Aquaman again.
Taika is such cancer at this point. I liked What We Do in the Shadows and Thor Ragnarok but he's definitely huffing his own farts at this point. He's basically Gunn without any self awareness or restraint, and somehow even more reddit.
Even regnarok was overly self indulgent. Only like three scenes from it hold up. The intro, the hulk Thor fight and the end. That’s it. Valkyrie killed that movie.
The movie forgot Valkyrie was an antagonist right after she gets introduced. She inslaves people to fight to the death for a living then feels bad about it and becomes a good guy.
>Maybe? >Portman showed contempt for the Thor movie to the point she left the production of the second movie early and had to cobble a post credit scene without her. >But maybe the leaked photos where just to show that not only she gave a frick but also committed to the role like in the V for Vendetta movie.

Disney can't even commit to a practical set for a bedroom or prop gun. While this isn't a problem exclusive to Disney, they've taken it to the ultimate extreme.
It's because movies are made up as they go now. It's easier to film everything on a green screen so you can edit and change the movie entirely even after filming is done. Many big movies don't even have tight scripts anymore, just vague dialogue they'll adlib and ADR it in post if needed.
This is exactly why movies like this feel so soulless, they quite literally don't make them like they used to.
In the case of The Hobbit, it's because the production was a mess. LotR had years of planning and pre-production before they started filming. When they started shooting the first Hobbit some sets weren't even built.
>The average blockbuster today has between 2000-3000 cgi effects shots.
Because the amount of random things they're CGing is ridiculous.
Disney can't even commit to a practical set for a bedroom or prop gun. While this isn't a problem exclusive to Disney, they've taken it to the ultimate extreme.
The answer is that Disney doesn't want to pay union wages, because the entire sect of costuming, set building, and prop design is all unionized. So instead they use the cheapest props they can, build small greenscreen sets, and have cheap sweatshop CG studios overseas fill in the rest.
Granted, Disney's not the only company that does this, but since they're the biggest media company in the world, it's very noticeable.
80% of Aquaman takes place in Green Screen, wowie zowie they shot on a location, big shit, Disney generally has a location or two as well.
The DCEU as a whole is a mass of green screen, the sub-Disney CGI is less noticeably bad because so much of it occurs at night/underwater (which is the same thing effectively).
There is nothing more hilarious than DCkeks promoting WB's "superior" film-making.
I'm sorry, but I was talking about my issues with how Disney does things, I didn't even mention WB or the DCEU. You don't think me talking bad about one means I'm singing praises about the other, do you? WB is just as guilty of the same shitty business practices as Disney.
And furthermore, the use of CG isn't inherently a bad thing; some really great and memorable visual effects have been made by it. But it's at its peak when it's impossible to differentiate it from reality, when the flow of the narrative and charm of the characters help carry emotional weight through the scene and suspend your disbelief.
But when you're a huge corporation making millions - even billions - of dollars because the general population eats up your work no matter the quality? Then nothing matters more than ballooning the bottom line. More money in, less money out. And things that once took months to film are condensed to weeks, leaving less takes for the editors to use. Smaller sets. Fill everything in with the cheapest CG available. And get it all out as soon as possible so it'll line up with all the merch - produced in overseas borderline slave factories - flooding the shelves of your local Walmart. So the people putting the shows and films together are crunched to the bone until they burn out and bail, and industry talent starts drying up, and it all looks worse and molds into a large, unmanageable, impenetrable capeshit bubble of blandness.
People aren't going to Superhero Adventure Serials to see "The Godfather meets Avatar's SFX". They are going to see their likeable heroes do hero hijinks.
You seem to feel that Disney should want, no should feel obligated, to make important films that make Scorcese kneel and weep for shame.

Yes, Ian signed a contract to fight Balrogs and Orcs in a make-believe magical country, and the least they could have done is build a magical country and genetically create some Balrogs.
Nm that 80% of the movie takes place in the wild countryside, and they actually moved filming to a country that LOOKS like said wild countryside for purposes of fidelity. They did NOT build Gondor or Moria for realz and he's sad about it.

you guys are idiots. a good actor can give a believable or at least passable performance whether they have an actual scene partner or not, but if you shot the scene both ways, the SFX-only take would always be worse. especially for a classically trained theatrical performer like McKellan. the studio's budgetary concerns are preventing the talent from doing their job to the best of their ability & for someone who truly loves the craft and the work that they do it makes perfect sense that he would be saddened by the experience. you guys act like he ragequit the franchise
Have you seriously never seen a stage play? An actor can monologue and convincingly make it sound like they're talking to someone. They don't need to be sitting in an actual, fully furnished dining room to portray the fact they're eating dinner. Ian McKellen has theatrical experience. Pretty safe to say he was completely unphased by that green screen shit.
shhhh you're ruining the "actors need props and sets 100% of the time to give good performances" myth they want to keep pedaling and makes that meme photo look like bullshit
A good actor doesn't need a "partner." A good actor could talk to the fricking void and give a good performance because they're a good actor.
I am a stage actor. In my post I agreed with what you are saying, that it's possible to give a believable performance without these things.
I'm not arguing for building a full practical set, but the dwarf actors should at least be there to play off of. Settling for "good" performances because it's cheaper to CGI actors together in the same space than actually filming them together is going to create a worse product. McKellan's performance in the Hobbit films was fine, audiences love Gandalf and his portrayal of the character is consistent, but it's an inferior product to the LotR performance.
shhhh you're ruining the "actors need props and sets 100% of the time to give good performances" myth they want to keep pedaling and makes that meme photo look like bullshit
this is not the point I was trying to make but of course Cinemaphile is insisting we settle for 'good' performances & be grateful

Shall we not just use a small bedroom set? >Nah lets green screen it >Hey you know in Spider-Man No Way Home? Peter's apartment? Really? I remember a lot of gays on Twitter memeing about how ridiculous it looked
The editing on this feel so weird. When Hemsworth it talking it cuts to a two shot of Portman and Thompson for no reason (and Thompson hiccups or gags, could they not get a second take?) then at 0:17 there's a jarring discontinuity with Korg's position relative to Thor. Maybe this is cut up to omit some plot detail.
>its a great movie and the CHUDs might not like THAT specific scene but that’s why it’s so great. Definitely movie of the year for anyone angry about SCOTUS (aka us NORMAL folks) today. Oh and Valkyrie? Slays! I STAN Tessa Thompson don’t @ me! Go see this movie! WE want JANE as THOR going forward!
Blade is fighting vampires, but then they all suddenly disintegrate and are gone. Blade suddenly feels his thirst and his powers vanish. He's just a normal guy now.
Wong appears out of a portal and informs him that because Wanda destroyed all the Darkholds, there are no longer any vampires.
The rest of the movie is just Blade playing Minecraft, going to get some shopping, and going to a theme park and riding a roller coaster. "Nice day", he says.
>being Thor makes cancer worse somehow >destroying Mjolnir yet again >everything else in the plot

It's so that Disney can change whatever they want during post production. These movies aren't even shot with complete scripts.

>Aquaman
>mostly shot on location
Are you being serious right now?
Yes I'm serious, coping Disney shill. This scene would be green screened in the MCU.
I can almost smell Cara Delevingnes snatch in her breath.
What does it smell like?
Hot
No one denies WB is struggling. That's why they actually try with their movies. Disney having unstoppable success leads to them being cheap and lazy, and it shows.
It's the same with Pokemon. The games are shit because they know people will still buy them anyways.
>Disney having unstoppable success leads to them being cheap and lazy, and it shows.
>WB is struggling. That's why they actually try with their movies.
They take no-way-you-can-lose franchises like Zilla and Pokemon and subcontract them out to Chinks, ensuring they will make HALF the box office Disney could pull with them. They are constantly trash-casting their movies.
Hahaha, frick Warner Brothers, they are digging their own graves.
As long as I keep getting kino like Shazam, Aquaman, and Batman I'll be happy. Not like the MCU is worth a shit anymore.
Imagine shilling for Disney. You're nobody, anon, they don't care about you.
Batman wasn't a green screen CGI fest. You can watch BTS videos of them on location. Pretty sure the script wasn't ad-libbed on the spot either, seemed like a traditionally shot and filmed movie.
Disney is organized in the sense that they have assembly line film production down to a science.
>action scenes are created years in advance without the director
>everything is shot on green screen so it can be changed on a whim
>reshoots are built into the budget/schedule now
>no standards for CGI or special effects quality
>The average blockbuster today has between 2000-3000 cgi effects shots.
Because the amount of random things they're CGing is ridiculous.
>they cgi'd her costume and her waistline
The hair makes sense though in space, just like Aquaman for underwater.
Jfc she’s a fat frick
Brie, easy on the carrots
>The CGI industry is the verge of collapse.
what practical effect rock do you live under?
I'm under the rock where reality resides.

A lot of CGI companies have gone bankrupt because how unsustainable the business model is.
Remember when that company that made the Tiger in Life of Pi went bankrupt even though it won an Oscar? They cut the mic of the guys as they where asking for a change in the business practice, that is how fricked up the CGI industry is.
At that same Oscars, Robert Downey Jr and Mark Ruffalo tried to acknowledge how effects artists were getting fricked before they got shut down by Sam Jackson.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5p8L5WegCDI
You're gonna tell me that wasn't a scripted gag?
That makes it even worse, now they are making fun of a important issues. Its the Hollywood equivalent of a bully repeating what his victims says with a mocking voice.
Never forgetti the CG company that redid the sonic movie design went under before the movie actually released and now it's a successful franchise
>The CGI industry is the verge of collapse. When that happens, Disney is going to be fricked.
Nah, they'll just switch to virtual sets like they use for the Mando and Unreal Engine instead of Maya.
Explains the total reshooting and recasting of dr2 at the last second.

The suits at Sony and test audiences loathed her and how much of a homosexual ass pointless simp strange was.
And seeing how absolutely all of it is green screen none if the characters interact and no one knows what the hodgepodge of homosexualry looks like someone can go in and redo everything and make a new movie.
They kicked the Chavez character out of nwh for a raison.
breathe anon, hated who and if its the chavez character she is in all of it no? so how did she get kicked out?
No Way Home.
oh right that..
When that trailer was released with Xavier's voice and mainstream audiences thought it was gonna be another Cameos: The Movie and put it up there expectations wise with No Way Home, they knew they were fricked.
Had they kept the original Directors cut it probably would have been better
Remember when Disney started shooting for The Black Hole without a complete script? and they never actually bothered writing an ending for that movie?
It's crazy how such a kino movie like Roger Rabbit could be responsible for all this. I blame the prequels too.
Probably becauser the movie got made in the height of Corona?
Things like actors, set desigers, and etc all cost lots of money and have unions that force the studio to follow the rule.
CGI sweatshops do not.
It is more eco friendly

Shadow Realm? Is MCU ripping off yu gi oh now?
>This is what DC desperately wants to be
That's basically what CW shows are.
This is what Flash will be and thankfully it will flop before it's back to AquaShazam kino.
The AquaShazamverse.
flash, shazam, shazam 2, black adam, wonder woman 1984, blue beetle, batgirl, the suicide squad aquaman 2 it will never end no matter how many flops. I fully expect the next DCfandome to announce a taika movie.
>AquaShazam kino
you sad delusional fool
Don't care. Better than the crap in the OP at this point.
Taika is already locked down by Disney. He's getting his own Star Wars movies on top of the MCU stuff.
>Taika is already locked down by Disney.
I'm sure people said the same thing about James Gunn.
Gunn only went to DC after they fired him after the pedophilia stuff broke out. They later re-hired him to finish GOTG3 which is his final movie.
He's doing Peacemaker S2.
Ye I know. He's working for WB now, but would he have if he wasn't dismissed from the MCU back in 2018? If not the MCU, I definitely could've seen him making Star Wars after or something like Watt or Taika.
Some people in Disney and Marcel and Alonzo dug up old tweets. You know the entirely fictional social

quite a coincidence.
Cap marvel only became a
Take your fricking meds, b***h. The people that dug up those tweets were alt-right shitters at the time trying to cancel every darling on the Left in retaliation like Gunn who was sticking it to Trumpy at the time.
Ok schizo
Articles in periodicles like the totally unbiased and can never be bought off vanity fair are very believable.
All of them were anti Trump and open about it.
Lolol
Bitch.
There is a frickton of dirt on everyone in the MCU.
That was a hit and everyone knows it now.
Now Alonzo and Feige and the morons behind the debacle of the third and fourth phase are finally getting the recognition they wanted. And it's exposing them as fricking morons hacks and boardroom politicians who prostituted and kind their way into their positions
>That was a hit and everyone knows it now.
Sure it was...from ass blasted conservatives
when Gunn was speaking out against Trump.
Of course your type are extremely dishonest, so you'll probably tell bold faced revisionist lies when anyone in this thread can just read it right here
or google other articles written at the time.
Rent free
You genuinely sound mentally ill
Brother, I can't tell you how excited I am for 2024.
Flash movie is dead bro. Ezra Miller is killing it by inches with his irl drama.
>thinking they'll can a $200m movie that's already finished
It's still coming out. The threat of nuclear war didn't stop The Interview from releasing.
How is Shazam any different from this? Tonally and visually the film is very similar to Taikashit
Not at all. Also pretty sure Shazam was shot on location. Go watch BTS.
>shadow realm
>rainbow power
They literally have the Bifrost which is a rainbow
Ragnarok was kino
Everyone sounds so tired. Especially Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.
Oh nonononono
I don't get it, are they gonna CGI her arm to make it more Cinemaphile?
>people actually thought she worked out of this role
kek.
Wait, did Disney CG these "leaked" set photos? Are they trying to convince us she actually bulked up for this movie just to CG her muscles anyways?
>Maybe?
>Portman showed contempt for the Thor movie to the point she left the production of the second movie early and had to cobble a post credit scene without her.
>But maybe the leaked photos where just to show that not only she gave a frick but also committed to the role like in the V for Vendetta movie.
frick off back to your twitter outrage homosexuals
Frick off mouse shill
Oh no no no no, what happened marvel bros?
>using the most boring shit in your movie to advertise it
Disney can't even commit to a practical set for a bedroom or prop gun. While this isn't a problem exclusive to Disney, they've taken it to the ultimate extreme.
Far From Home was one of the most CG'd MCU movies too because it required so many locations. Rather than head there they just CG'd it all in.
I hate this shit so much bros. Why can't movies be magical again?
What the frick was wrong with making a tiny set and just having them sit and talk?
I think this is the reason a lot of movies feel mindless and lack a lot of soul.
The answer is that Disney doesn't want to pay union wages, because the entire sect of costuming, set building, and prop design is all unionized. So instead they use the cheapest props they can, build small greenscreen sets, and have cheap sweatshop CG studios overseas fill in the rest.
Granted, Disney's not the only company that does this, but since they're the biggest media company in the world, it's very noticeable.
>largest media company is the cheapest and shittiest
God I love capitalism!
That's not the game at all. And their rivals in the Superhero market aren't making art either.
>You seem to feel that Disney should want, no should feel obligated, to make important films that make Scorcese kneel and weep for shame.
Is putting words into other people's mouths just a regular argumentative tactic you use to dismiss criticism, or do you just have poor reading comprehension?
Wait, you're telling me an actor actually had to act? That he wasn't actually in Middle Earth talking to dwarves and hobbits? Mind blown.
A good actor doesn't need a "partner." A good actor could talk to the fricking void and give a good performance because they're a good actor.
McKellan's performance in the Hobbit films was fine, audiences love Gandalf and his portrayal of the character is consistent, but it's an inferior product to the LotR performance.
this is not the point I was trying to make but of course Cinemaphile is insisting we settle for 'good' performances & be grateful
>Hey you know that scene in Civil War with the fight in the parking lot, shall we not just use the actual parking lot outside to film?
>Nah lets green screen it
>You know the scene where Wanda is cooking? Shall we not just find a random kitchen?
>Nah lets green screen it
>Hey you know in Spider-Man Far From Home, Peter's hotel room? Shall we not just use a small bedroom set?
>Nah lets green screen it
>Hey you know in Spider-Man No Way Home? Peter's apartment? Shall we not just use the apartment sets from the last movie?
>Nah lets green screen it
I remember saying this looked like shit when it came out and felt genuinely gaslit by everyone telling me I'm being nitpicky and it was actually le epic. I'm convinced this would've been hated if it weren't for Spiderman showing up.
Yeah it feels like people have a ton of complaints about Civil War but then they go "BUT EBIN AIRPORT BATTLE" as if it negates it all.
It definitely was obvious that they used CGI and it wasn't good CGI. I don't get why. They could have used a parking lot easily.
>remember saying this looked like shit when it came out and felt genuinely gaslit by everyone telling me I'm being nitpicky and it was actually le epic.
Really? I remember a lot of gays on Twitter memeing about how ridiculous it looked
I still frickin hate what that gay did to the Warbound.
Looks litty
>The big purple guy has the raspy slightly high pitched australian voice
I thought he was going to sound like Thanos.
Korg's been in 3 or 4 of these movies now.
Korg should've sounded gravelly like he's made out of rocks.
Fricking word salad bullshit. Couldn't even make it 30 seconds.
>Let’s bring the rainbow
Well this definitely confirms that the script will be worse than Doctor Strange 2.
Nothing can be worse than Multiverse of Madness' script.
MCU films feel like they were designed for laugh tracks/live audiences almost like a Disney sitcom. Very little of the humor feels natural.
I fricking hate MCU Valkyrie. She’s hideous and ugly on the inside. Frick I hate her.
I wish we could just have a traditional brunnhilde.
Social media reactions drop in 13 minutes, can't wait to read between the lines and find out how bad this movie sucks.
>its a great movie and the CHUDs might not like THAT specific scene but that’s why it’s so great. Definitely movie of the year for anyone angry about SCOTUS (aka us NORMAL folks) today. Oh and Valkyrie? Slays! I STAN Tessa Thompson don’t @ me! Go see this movie! WE want JANE as THOR going forward!
Nice. Apparently they’re teasing Thor 5 with Jane. It’s time to retire Hemsworth already.
Jane dies and goes to Valhalla.
Blade leak:
Blade is fighting vampires, but then they all suddenly disintegrate and are gone. Blade suddenly feels his thirst and his powers vanish. He's just a normal guy now.
Wong appears out of a portal and informs him that because Wanda destroyed all the Darkholds, there are no longer any vampires.
The rest of the movie is just Blade playing Minecraft, going to get some shopping, and going to a theme park and riding a roller coaster. "Nice day", he says.

When are people going to get tired of watching utter bullshit over and over and over again?
I stopped after endgame. Haven't even seen MoM and don't feel like I'm missing much either.
Yes but you aren't "people". Strange 2 pulled 950 million, 50% more than Strange 1, and that's with China effectively shut off. That's more than even the highly successful Thor: Ragnarok.
Though Love and Thunder will easily vanquish both.
This train ain't stopping.
Strange was beat by Top Gun, dude. Looks like people would rather watch planes than the MCU these days.
And you are not definitely not people, you're a Disney shill.
Yes, Top Gun MAY end up in the top 3 movies this year, gg beating a Strange sequel.
But it'll have a hard road to #3 against the rest of Disney's slate.
>may
It's on pace to pass Dr. Strange 2 and take the #1 spot lol.
It's still $30 million off, though I admit it's likely to pass it in a week or two.
But Strange was always the smallest of the Disney tentpoles this year, with Thor, Black Panther and Avatar all expected to beat it.
Being in the top spot in June (which it is not, yet) and declaring "we won the whole year" is silly cope.
>I admit
Why do you have to "admit" this? Why are you such a Disney brand warrior that you have to gather the emotion strength to "admit" the reality that Top Gun will be the #1 movie of the year?
I'm not calling a race until the line is crossed, I'll say that Top gun will likely reach 1 billion and Strange 2 will not; gg Tom Cruise on making your first billion dollar movie (maybe).
It won't even make the top 30 movies of the MCU-era of film, of which a large chunk are MCU though. Take from that what you will (nothing, if you like!).
>Strange was beat by Top Gun, dude. Looks like people would rather watch planes than the MCU these days.
TG is beating fricking EVERYTHING.
No kidding. Top Gun will probably end up passing Doctor Strange by mid July. It's probably going to pass the $1 billion mark before August, which would be a first for a Tom Cruise movie to make that much.
How the frick did he do it, bros? I had no idea people wanted a sequel so bad. I feel like the first was only known for gay jokes.
He made a good movie, thats it. Thats the spot the film industry is in.
Most people watching it aren't even aware top gun is a sequel
I'm only in it for Spider-Man but that's been the case since the Raimi movies although I'm skipping Across the Memeverse Part Une

If you want to take a shit on Cape movies broadly, like the darling little contrarians you are; be my guest. But if you try promoting Warner Brothers as "le superior cape studio", prepare to be roundly mocked as idiots.
It is purely because they have to try. I enjoyed TSS and The Batman, and Black Adam looks fun. I probably won't ever watch this because it's obvious Disney doesn't care anymore.
Warner Brothers has been obligated to TRY for decades, and what they've done is systematically run their superhero franchises down the shitter again and again.
They understand HOW to make a successful superhero flick; they have no clue how to follow them up.
>when the MCU is not even funny to laugh at anymore
It was never funny.
It was ok when sarcastic quipster who breaks awkward tension with dry humor was one character - Iron Man. Then they gave everyone that personality.
