>The post-Krakoa X-Men status quo helmed by Tom Brevoort is codenamed "The Blue Moon". It will be a back to basics approach to the X-Men with separate teams and a mansion, but with a big new twist which will differentiate it from the pre-Krakoa X-Men status quo.
>Fall of the House of X/Rise of the Powers of X will not end with a Moira timeline wipe and nothing of the Krakoan era will be retconned away, instead an "understanding" will be reached by the AI and mutants. What this "understanding" is, is unknown.
>Beast will be resurrected with an earlier backup and it is fully possible that other characters will receive the same treatment.
>Magik is confirmed to be getting a major role in this new status quo.

>No reset
Dropped
It will be a reset but not presented as a reset. One year later noone will remember Krakoa and they will behave like the time before.
>Beast will be resurrected with an earlier backup
Lazy, but understandable
Just surprised they're not keeping him as a punching bag
They’ll probably make the current Hank the new “dark beast” and make him a reoccurring villain
They've been pussyfooting around Dark Beast since AoA, and they should honestly just commit to it at this point.
>beast will be rest
>krakoa still canon
no frick all of that, reboot to before bendis if not earlier or it will still be shit
>lazy
it's worse than lazy. it's like trying to give cough syrup to a corpse of someone who died in a car crash "to make it better"
My I'm reaching hard but "New" just being a flipped version of "Men" has to mean something right?
God I hope the future is just cis women and trans women, the age of men is done and there should only be new
So you're glad you won't be in the future, anon?
I'd be a trans woman, obviously. I just can't be a trans woman while society would still laugh at me for looking like the comic book guy from the simpsons with slightly better hair.
Coward. Go out there and declare yourself a gal pal to everyone you know now instead of wishing for it to happen eventually
Can't. I'd rather be a dude who has a hard time looking at himself in the mirror than end up looking like a slightly-better-put-together version of Chris-Chan.
Then I'm pretty sure you're not going to be allowed to join the revolution in the future
They're not going to start shooting cis men, you idiot.
Sissies
Then it's not a real revolution. Just a pussy movement that will die in the next gen.
Is Gail Simone one writing?
she's writing the FCBD X-men story at least
>>Magik is confirmed to be getting a major role in this new status quo.
YannaChads, we're sooooo back!
Current Magik isn't even Magik in personality. She's basically just Exiles Magik but not evil.
Who the frick cares about this stupid russian b***h with her magic ass sword, she just annoys me very time she appears. Same as current storm with his b***hiness.
Cannonball was the only good one
There used to be hints that Cannonball was actually immortal, did they drop that?
That got dropped in the mid 90s when the book changed writer. Jeph Loeb didn't care about continuing anything from Fabian Nicieza's run so it just got handwaved away.
There was a widespread rumor about Marvel dropping the Externals plot over the people who made the Highlander movies threatening to sue them as if those guys created the concept of immortals. This was debunked years ago when Loeb confirmed it never happened and admitted he just wanted to get rid of the previous run's plots and characters he didn't care about, and the Externals have come back since, but somehow the rumor still won't die.

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!
Magik will be turned into a toddler again because Brevoort is a Byrne gay who thinks the X-Men turned into irrevocable shit the second he left the book in the early 80s.
My guess for new status quo:
>>The Byrne/Claremont roster for the main X-Men book (IE Storm, Cyclops, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Shadowcat, Maddie Pryor, and MAYBE Thunderbird and Banshee)
>>X-Factor with the original Layton concept (Beast, Iceman, Angel, Alex, Lorna)
>>New Mutants (Sam, Bobby, Dani, Rhahne, Karma, Doug, Warlock, Magma)
X-Force (Wolverine, Kwannon, Deadpool, Fantomax, X23, Warpath, Elixer; IE a merger of the Yost/Remender teams)
Captain Britain Corp (Betsy, Brian, and a couple of new Captain Britain types on Earth)
Magik will be turned into a kid again, Jean will be dead and Scott/Maddie will reunite, Emma will be a mutant nazi leading the Hellfire Club, the Xterminator and New X-Men/Academy X kids and Generation Hope kids and Bendis kids and Gen X kids will be unpersoned, Magneto will be evil again, and basically we'll be back at a haphazard 1981 status quo will trace elements of the 90s and 00s era lingering in the X-Factor and X-Force books.
>Jean will be dead and Scott/Maddie will reunite
How does anyone other than Claremont himself even want this in 2023? That train has sailed.
Sex with Magik
What about the Talon and Wolverine status quo?
Permanent 2 Lauras
Yep.
Young/tight and milf flavor.
Bonus e-girl if you count Gabby.
Talon and Synch have a baby and leave the spotlight, younger Laura becomes the only Laura
um, problematic. its sex worker and heckin valid.
?
Every comic that has X-23 in it should bring up the "underage hooker" thing. Just random strangers walking past yelling "'sup Laura! still turning tricks?"
last one looks like Dafne Keen.
I have one question. It was established earlier by Waid's FF, Quest for Nightcrawler and Wolverine in Hell that Heaven and Hell are the real places you can actually visit.
Sooooo are all the characters just chilling there? Because all these ones are stupid clones who can be reprogrammed, reseted to factory settings, replicated x10 times etc. They have memories and personalities, but not the souls. I've thought it was going to be addressed at some point but it never was.
I'm pretty sure it has been repeatedly established that the "souls" transfer over through Krakoan resurrection. Otherwise Wanda's waiting room wouldn't work.
This is bullshit, how the frick they can "transfer souls"? Especially when you can have multiple Wolverines (insert any other mutant) running around
Because sit down and shut up. But for real, that's a valid question that the X-men writers 100% ignored, especially when an actual quandry showed up with two Lauras being there.
IIRC the waiting room literally was created like it was in part because they *couldn't* actually transfer souls prior, it just didn't really get talked about.
I like to think that Quentin Quires get used as pennies in Hell economies at this point it makes me happy.
It never ceases to amaze me how people still care about X-Men.
Are you gay or something?
Dude. Literally 90% of X-Men are gay and take part in gay orgies.
I lost interest when sword of X.
Percy set up bringing back Avengers beast forever ago
>Beast will be resurrected with an earlier backup
Unless it's a reset all the way back to the 90's, I don't see a point.
he's being reset back to the 70s
So is Scott gonna be crippled now?
Did they ever use that logo besides Age of Apocalypse?
And they leave Krakoa and create a retcon which isnt a retcon but will be forgotten it ever existed like a retcon?
It's the original 1960s logo.
Thanks. I could swear the early logo didnt had that X. False memories, i guess!
Can I get a rundown on whats been going on with the X-Men? Last I read was about aliens throwing stuff at earth because of gambling.
What happens to Jean, Scott, and Logan? Are they all still fricking each other? What about Emma and Storm?
Has Moiria finally crashed Krokoa with no survivors? Does beast finally get some comeuppance for some of the stuff he's done?
No, married Tony Stark, still playing monarch on Mars, yes, and no.
Basically, the X-men are back to being terrorists and Orchis is presented as actually mattering and having immense political and technological despite everyone knowing they are lame as frick.
>Jubes is undead again
It will never not be funny that they teased the gayest line up yet as a new roster only for all of them to die.
all died except Juggernught
They never teased it as a line up, it was always meant to be one winner of the vote who would become apart of the X-Men
All X-23 gays should be hanged
Hickmand did his best to imply they were living in polyamory but the Wolverine writer shut it down HARD due to the backlash.
Emma is still being an SJW Nazi c**t but is currently hiding via a retconned into canon alias she used to arch the West Coast Avengers with, and did a marriage of convenience with Iron Man due to Tony being on the shit list of an ORCHIS head who is pissy Tony refused to join the group. Storm is basically stuck on Mars, in a civil war situation and is unwilling to tell the Otherworld mutants to frick off and go to Earth to help her teammates.
Moira and Dr Stasis crashed Krakoa but Mother Righteous saved most everyone and is planning something nasty with them as far as currently planning to use the Phoenix to gain Dominion status. And Beast is still running around with the plot point that the only surviving memory back-up of him ending around 1982, when he officially left the Avengers to go frick around with the Defenders.
one of us is having a stroke
>nothing of the Krakoan era will be retconned away
Then it's useless
>Magik is confirmed to be getting a major role in this new status quo.
Pretty funny considerind brevoort use to hate her
https://www.tumblr.com/brevoorthistoryofcomics/86860874679/life-in-a-four-color-world-column-on-x-men-2003
Considering she nolonger controls Limbo maybe he's just planning to kill her off.
Would be nice. I actually agree with him in that Magik has always been a shitty character and over the las decade since Bachalo gave her the goofy coom costume she's been overpushed as well.
does she even have a persona? I thought she'd been the jailbait teleporter since she came back
Basically the X-men equivalent of Scarlet Witch since they can’t use her due to being an Avenger and all
Not sure I buy this, they have very different personalities and very different roles on their respective teams. And even in AU stories where the X-books can use Scarlet Witch they never want to and just have her die for some other character to be sad about it.
As in they’re both treated by writers as the magic authority on their teams, despite being vastly different in skill and expertise
>Implying the new Beast won't get groomed into a villain
Who the frick would xgays and CBR blame everything on now?
I'm sure Xavier'll be around in some way.
I hope he's crippled again.
So it'll be the same status quo aside from an understanding with the AI?
What about Orchis? Will they be disbanded and just be minor villains? Why not do a major Shadow King arc?
I don't think anyone gives a frick about Orchis, anon
How reliable have Bleeding Cool leaks been in the past?
>It will be a back to basics approach to the X-Men
Marvel have said this about the X-Men since the end of the Morrison's era.
What kind of 'understanding' could the X Men and Orchis achieve?
Mutants and robots agreeing to stop fighting each other and bully the powerless humans is my bet
ah, the treaty of doublec**t
What a mess but X fans will still read it.
only if it's posted here because we won't be paying for it
