agreed, it's probably the most filler trash medium of entertainment, probably due to anime fans having terrible taste and no standards, but every few years, some good stuff comes out.
Parts 1 and 2 of Jojo, i.e. season 1, is so unbelievably kino not much else compares. After that it's still a very entertaining show but it clearly just becomes another anime.
Part 2 is so good, great villians, characters, fight locations, it's pretty short too, i rewatched it 3 times, i tried watching part 1 again, but found it a bit bland, the best fight is Jonathan's first fight against vampire dio. overall 2>4>3(skip the filler fights)>1>5. i couldn't finish part 6, it's so bad, i know explaining what's happening happens in all Jojo parts, but it's too much in part 6
1 is a bit bland but the story is great and I feel like it's really telling that story and isn't just a serial. I'll always be nostalgic for the first Jojo.
oh i completely forgot about the horses, yeah that complicates it a bit, CGI maybe?
Part 6 ends the OG JoJo storyline, part 7 onwards is an entirely different thing
part 6 any good? I couldn't finish past the animal ghost stand thing, didn't like it, feels like a " new fight every week" like in part 3, and not a story like part 4 and 5.

JoJo nosedived in quality when the protagonists stopped being huge muscle guys. Twinkification of JoJo has been a disaster for the anime genre.
kek at that image, also agreed, i think part 4 is perfect, the stands are still massive, and the humans themselves look good too, part 1 and 2 were good, part 3 had weird "wheel shouders", and part 5, humans and stands looked small.
For me, it's 3>2>4>1>>>the rest. Stardust Crusaders is the most over the top ridiculous season of them all but also the coolest and funniest. Even though the plot goes all over the place and the villains and their stands are extremely contrived at times, it manages to consistently entertain. It's the type of season that makes you say hell yeah out loud at the end of almost every episode when the payoff finally arrives. It's so engaging and audiovisually pleasing that no matter how moronic the plot twists get, you'll forgive them because you want to cool good guys to obliterate the bad guys. D'arby Brothers especially.
part 3 has a lot of filler though, i could go without "the sun" or "moon(the shark stand)"
Phantom Blood is the only good part of the show the rest is way too autistic and has the pacing of a snail. It takes like 3 episodes to explain one attack in one battle idk how anyone watches this shit. Every other episode is just: >I planned for this battle >I planned for you planning for this battle >Well I planned for you planning for my plan for the battle >well, my attack wins, because I planned for you planning for my plan to plan for your plan in this battle
>pacing of a snail.
have you seen part 2? it's only 12 episodes, has the best Jojo too

Stardust crusaders was the last season I'll watch. It was mostly formulaic filler. I can appreciate coming up with so many different encounters, but having so many one-off villains wasn't engaging.
Earlier JoJos were great.

nah, "justice" with enya was important, along with the D'arby brothers.

Enrya was also filler. There was no reason to make her Geil’s mom. She didn’t provide any development besides showing that Dio doesn’t give a shit about his minions (something we already knew). Doesn’t help that she was defeated by the most moronic technique in the franchise.
The Darby brothers were important though. I’ll give you that
It's a chore to get through but the ending is kino as frick. I'd watch it only for that. Araki really fricked up with the prison symbolism, I mean yeah we get it that Jolyne has to come to terms with herself being a JoJo and "break out of her prison" but damn, over 25 episodes just for that is a bit too much. The second the Pucci becomes much more prominent part 6 becomes a lot better.

Anime isn't kino
To be kino anime cannot
Anime used to be kino, see vampire D: Hunter Bloodlust for example
But nowadays? I don't think so. It's sad but the art has been lost

>Vampire D: Hunter Bloodlust
just catched this and ninja scroll
what else is there?
Goku: Midnight Eye
Cyber City Oedo 808
Wicked City
Demon City Shinjuku
Highlander: The Search for Vengeance
I finished Baki last night. What a masterpiece.
Son of Ogre second half was good, but nothing beats the first Death Roll Inmates arc.
I’ve rewatched the father&son dinner so many times. Pure fricking kino
The slow realization that the only person in the whole world that can really fight him is his own son was so randomly touching
not only that but the way they bond during the fight, didn't expect that shit at all

Part 7 is the kinoest JoJo but alas it seems it won't get animated
What would be the point of animating parts 5 and 6 and not animating part 7?
part 8 probably won't get animated, it's too long, but part 7 probably will.
Part 6 ends the OG JoJo storyline, part 7 onwards is an entirely different thing
Horses.
Hol horses?
>were more likely to get his shitty spinoff with josuke animated before sbr
Feels great
