I hated it. I was too old for that shit already. It was either Playhouse Disney, Nick Jr., or Tom & Jerry/Scooby Doo on CN. I usually chose the latter but still was desperate for it to be 2pm already so the older kids shows could come on
I was all about Muppet Babies, Rugrats and Doug. Those all played on Nick Jr around 1995 or so. Also, Allegra's Window, Richard Scary and Gullah Gullah had their moments.

The thing I found quite strange as a zoomer growing up was the Nickelodeon always had gross out humour no matter the show. SpongeBob is probably the best example of this as the seasons progressed, but I just can’t seem to think that this isn’t some kind of fetish shit the writers like. Even as a kid I hated that gross out shit with snot or SpongeBob going into his brain or something. Was annoying as frick and made that shit unwatchable
The cartoon from the 90's and 00's also had gross out humor, bit they usually also had good jokes alongside it (CatDog) or were so ludicrous that the gross out stuff just melded with the rest of the mess (Ren and Stimpy).
