Vaughn is a legitimately great actor. He blew everyone out of the water in S2 of True Detective and Brawl in Cell Block 99 had a tremendous performance by Vince.
He was a wooden plank in Brawl, but in TD yeah, I liked him.
That was the entire point of his character. The ending where he is trying to hold back his tears was incredibly natural and stood out to me.

I don’t think it will be good. I can’t imagine Pizzaman being a good director, especially for something that sounds like there aren’t many inspiring ways of shooting it. It will probably be bland like Taylor Sheridan’s directing. This sounds like it should be a made for TV movie or a TV show that ends up being way too short, so the writers adds a bunch of crap to make it a limited series. Hoping I’m wrong.
