Proof that nostalgia baiting is dying?

Actually they rebranded to Paramount Global in 2019. Just goes to prove that they're so small in the grand scheme of things that a total rebranding goes over everyone's heads.

        >Proof that nostalgia baiting is dying?

About a decade ago NICK GAS and The '90s Are All That/Nick Splat/The Splat existed. They aired four hour blocks of all the 90s live action shows, cartoons, and game shows. They even brought back Stick Stickly.
I guess with Paramount+ it ended. Even now NickToons is SpongeBob all day when it used to have Fanboy & Chum Chum, Mighty B, TUFF Puppy, and all the other shows that weren't as popular as Spongebob.
A few months ago they also had TMNT in the middle of the night, probably just to advertise the franchise being on Paramount.

Apparently Nicktoons being the Spongebob channel is the only way to keep the ratings high enough to justify its continued airing now that all of the variety's moved to streaming, all the events they used to do between the networks are crammed onto Pluto TV now.

They were more movies or miniseries than a show, only three to six episodes for each season.

Not really, plenty of their Disney Plus stuff is censored, They even erased some episodes entirely like the Red Skull episode from "Spider-Man and his Amazing friends", they're also missing plenty of their shows on Disney Plus such as the Aladdin TV series

Disney TVA is lucky that higher ups at Disney didn't force them to make a ton of Disney+ originals like Paramount and AT&T did to Nick and CNS. They only made two shows, Monsters at Work and the Proud Family reboot which were able to get moved to Disney Channel after they bombed on D+

Other than losing a frickton of money with their many recent flops to the point their shareholders are fighting each other as we speak, having awful animation in most of their series, being terrible to it's workers, hiring literal convicted sex offenders that literally just got out of prison and giving them jobs at series full of kid actors and writing off shows just like the other studios.

I wonder how the creator of the Big Nate books feel about this consider that he gave Nickelodoen the rights to turn them into a show and now they made it lost media. (When it comes to watching the show legally)
And apparently Nick is planning on making a cartoon based on another one of his book series.

      Anonymous

Probably frustrated since he's been trying to turn it into a cartoon since the 90s but wasn't happy with all the approaches until this show. He even worked on it as a consultant and did some of the strips for the end credits.

I wouldn't be shocked if Max and the Midknights got cancelled mid-production.

Even if these shows suck, they should at least be given a chance to suck on their own and not get sniped without warning.
