The Toys game is not that bad
Eh, it’s not that bad true but it’s still not good.
I liked it because I could play with characters from the only 3 Nicktoons I ever gave a shit about: Ren & Stimpy, MLAATR and Invader Zim
I played that game as a kid but i relived all the hard as shit levels and ugly level design when he got to the Toybots game. I could return to Globs of Doom constantly as a kid but i could not engage with Toybots past the first few levels.

Actually not merchandising.
Nickelodeon was just dumb enough to sell the full international rights of the IP to Canadian entertainment company Nelvana, meaning that Nelvana owns FoP everywhere outside North America so if Nickelodeon ever wants to do anything FoP related outside of cartoons then they'd have to give all the international profits to Nelvana.
TL;DR, it's the exact same situation the X-Men were in before Disney bought Fox.
You'd think that with the amount of money Nickelodoen spent acquiring TMNT and Garfield they'd also buy back the international right to their second biggest show of all time.

That's usually how it goes. Just like what that other Anon said with X-Men. It happened with The Hulk with Universal Studios and Spiderman with Sony. They were popular comic book characters but not big movie names yet so no one cared or anticipated the boom in popularity
Nelvana only has international distribution rights to the first 5 seasons of the show, Nickelodeon owns the worldwide rights to Seasons 6+. Even on Pluto and Paramount+ in Canada, only Season 6 and after are available, while Seasons 1-5 are legally available to watch for free on YouTube.

I think Quinton is wrong about ATLA not being able to work in Nicktoons Unite. It's not like the show was 100% serious 100% of the time. As long as the playable rep was someone that wasn't an actual Avatar (I feel that not making them OP would be a disservice) then they'd fit right in. Someone like Sokka wouldn't be that out of place.

I have to agree with him about using newer nicktoons. I really can't think of many other nicktoon that could fit in as a main character for a main character unless you want to use something like Henry Danger.

There's Paper from the new show Rock Paper Scissors. Though Jimmy has been used in material at least semi-recently and Nick likes to cash in on Nostalgia, so I don't think that there'd be a reason for him to be cut entirely.
