Sequel to a great film with interesting characters and a plot people aren't used to seeing in capeshit. Also has beautiful visuals and sound. That's really all it takes.

This. It's not shitting on anything unless you're really autistic about Spiderman mythos. Sony is never going to get rid of Peter Parker because Spiderman is the most valuable character in the world. Everyone wins

        Oh.

Cinemaphile is almost always wrong unless it's /misc/ then it's the opposite.

This movie didn't bomb, it did great, and it wasn't because of the homosexual flag snuck in there, I would pirate it again.

I enjoyed the other spider miles movie.
        Would I like this one?

Yes. Its one of the few movies released recently with a likeable main character and SOVL.

It’s different from the first, but it’s good. The comedy actually works well, likely because it’s Spider-Man and he’s supposed to be a little quippy. But it’s fun.

Turns out go woke go broke wasn't about including woke elements in your film but rather building the entire film around wokeness to the detriment of the plot and characters

Because rejection of woke dreck, while undeniable, also has occasional exceptions that'll do ok at the box office despite being woke. That's an autistic question btw

Because it was snuck in, whereas every Disney or Pixar movie has a 6 month media campaign that they have the first gay character to do whatever.
