It looks pretty good and I'm cautiously optimistic but it feels unlikely that this could come back without them fricking up SOMETHING. Especially since they said they wanted to modernize it or something about MLoM saying it wouldn't just be an exact retelling of the original comic.
I am seriously surprised netflix took this on. Normally, they are quite eager to blackwash, or troonywash someone. But this is supposed to be a faithful adaptation in which the creator is involved in, and faithful adaptations are a sin in the eyes of Netflix.
I am expecting them to sneak in just a little blackwashing somewhere. I know Netflix can't help themselves, but if they don't backwash, then I am sure a troony will sneak in somewhere.
