That, and in most Western cartoons, nobody's lips are drawn. The extra detail just makes thefaces harder to animate. White people don't have nonexistent lips, they just have thinner lips on average. The lips just aren't drawn at all, though, unless for a close up or kiss gag.

Drawing noses for animation is tricky and drawing a big wide black nose would be hard to pull off.

Everyone has light palms though. It’s too much effort to animate in 2d though. If you have trouble seeing the difference in shades between your palms, you either have fricked eyes or should touch grass
