It makes me wonder how young the staff were. The meme was only 5 years past its peak. Which seems forever in internet time but IRL that likely puts some of these people as barely out of college
Anon, we're at the point where the kids born in 2008 are calling themselves 2000s kids pissing off the ones born in 1998 who are actual 2000s kids despite having called themselves 90s kids which pissed off the ones born in 1988.
Time flew, anon, time flew
>it feels like time is going by too fast nowadays
It really is. It used to be that information came out fast but steadily, but now thanks to social media it's just a constant jumble of random info fighting for your attention and turning you around. A lot more is 'happening', so the sequence of events is constantly being stretched out.
From what I can tell, older/middle zoomers are already prepping for their internet war with Gen Alpha when they hit their 30s because of that weird internet war between Millennials and zoomers that happened 2-3 years back.
Remember guys, the oldest Alphas turn 13 next year and their first wave of summergays on this site come next week.

Good god. I hope to God that Gen Alpha is full of kids who've grown up inundated with social justice preaching and hate it to their core. Fricking hell, 13 was how old I was when I started getting online, and those kids won't even be old enough to remember a time before wokeness. What a nightmare existence.

I remember getting more into internet culture when I was 11, I can't imagine what 11 year old gen alpha kids are getting into
You two are in for a treat because their politics and pop culture literally won't matter. So far these kids are defined by being sociopathic zombies whose parents basically raised them by plopping a phone in their faces. Good news, they're statistically terrible at reading and writing to the point they're having trouble with the third grade level stuff by middle school.
Their generation is cosmically fricked.

Maybe we can bully them into becoming domestic terrorists as a final act of revenge before we kill ourselves in lieu of being able to retire.

About that
Another thing to note is that the Alpha's missed development has caused them to behave in ways akin to autism, and I don't mean "internet autism", I don't even mean "lolcow autism" . I mean, poor emotional control, lacking empathy for others, screeching and hitting people when they're overstimulated AUTISM.
The whole "parented by phones" thing has caused a massive spike in social issues and a lack of problem solving skills so they are extremely prone to choosing violence. Every teacher from boomers to brand new gen z teachers have been quitting their jobs en masse because of how much these little shits are prone to insulting, disrespecting, or downright attacking them.
We don't need to bully them into terrorism, at the very least these little shits are already being viewed as an existential threat to America if not the entire Western world with how they've been raised, and this is before most of them reached the internet part of the internet

Many of them will be messed up liberals I bet. But this explains that douchey TikTok persona they all have. Going on there and looking in the comments section is akin to looking at Cinemaphile sometimes, no lie. Except they’re actually like that IRL too. >verification not required

Actually, let me put it this way. You see this, these were 2 10-11 year old zoomers in roughly 2014, this picture made rounds back then as a meme but as people pointed out, it was a huge uncomforting reminder of how the internet had played an influence in Gen Z's life, these kids were essentially mimicking what they saw the millennials doing online at the time. And that was on facebook and early twitter.
Gen Alpha? They had tiktok clout chasing where excess was the name of the game, barely disguised fetish content, and all kinds of other shit they shouldn't have been seeing.
They're probably gonna be more fricked than your average anon, even your average zoomer didn't access social media or liveleakand frick their own heads up until they were in their teens. These kids did it by the time they were 7

umm..... this was debunked... The artists said they made the character look like him as a joke, because they knew he loved Blossom and that he was writing and voicing the character.
It was not his idea to out himself so directly.

They didn’t even get the rage face right. “No me gusta” is an edit of the me gusta face, while this is clearly just ripping on the angry “no” rage face that was an entirely seperate thing to me gusts/no me gusta. If you’re gonna reference an outdated meme then you should at least get it right.
Hey don't be a prick, anon here is just showing his opinion like you did in that "real futanari" thread 4 weeks ago, you wrote much more text than him and no one said bad things about you, let him share his ideas in peace.
This. Tara was a little too cute in the OG version, though the VA’s for OG blossom and buttercup mog the new ones pretty hard
Horse show caused people to gaslight themselves into thinking Tara has this amazing range but you can usually tell when its her because she actually just has variations of the same handful of voices
The PPG reboot is unironically kind of amazing because it holds up a mirror to the same audience that acknowledged the original was a pale attempt to parody magical girl anime. When you consider that [EXPUNGED] also came out a few years prior it really seems like people selectively chose to dislike THIS meme show while praising THAT meme show.
Most of the OG episodes are either great or ok/mediocre, with the bad ones near the end of the show. I do think it’s massively overrated, and Craig has done better stuff
It's one of those show that have a lot of style, but lack substance. Early PPG is okay because it's not that removed from Craig's initial idea
Craig's stuff gets really odd when he's got full creative freedom
Yeah but that's arguably why it was so hated. It was one of the first attempts at a clear cash-in reboot coasting on brand recognition rather than its own merit.
Man I hate getting older, it feels like time is going by too fast nowadays
It wouldn't suck so much if it weren't for the fact that someone 4 years younger than you on the internet can feel decades younger. Let's face it, the first time most of us felt old online was when we turned 22.
I think PPG takes the cake because it's significantly worse in animation quality
Cinemaphile would have entire threads pointing out animation errors in nu-PPG episodes and find dozens of them in every single episode, sometimes multiple in the same shot
I would listen to the "reboot it" song on loop for 20 minutes before I sit down and watch an episode of PPG 2016, so probably Animaniacs. They're both pretty awful, though.
The bomb scare led to Stu Synder taking over as CEO of CN who had a somewhat tumultuous run. some of CN's most beloved and highest rated shows were under his wing (AT, RS, TCW, TDI) however he continually tried pushing live action onto the channel (albeit to little success) and is sometimes blamed for killing Toonami (even though that was a huge money and ratings pit towards its end)
Whenever creators shove in shitty outdated memes into their work I gotta wonder what they expected the reaction to be.

Can we all just step back, take a deep breath, and agree to hate each other in general? We're awful enough, we can share.

I assume whatever they expected, it was probably from the intented 5-10yo audience rather than teens and adults online
I liked Kristen Li's Bubbles a lot more than Tara ngl.
I remember how negative the reaction was on the web. Cinemaphile hated it, Twitter hated it, Tumblr hated it.
The actresses voicing the girls weren't bad honestly.
This. Tara was a little too cute in the OG version, though the VA’s for OG blossom and buttercup mog the new ones pretty hard
It’s too bad she has never done more voiceover work.
what a stupid flop
>Cinemaphile if they got to work on a cartoon
Probably Cinemaphile too.
umm..... this was debunked... The artists said they made the character look like him as a joke, because they knew he loved Blossom and that he was writing and voicing the character.
It was not his idea to out himself so directly.
what a stupid joke. God I hate this show
Didn't Craig put himself in the show as a joke before?
But not as a pedofork who flirts with the girls.
>The artists said they made the character look like him as a joke
>because they knew he loved Blossom
>h-haha it was just a joke guys
Liar liar, pants on fire.
Is that valiskbum?

Hey, morons tagging shemales/trannies as futanari is a real issue.
Archive link?
It would be funny if they did it out of spite
Why is she israeli?
She originally voiced by Tara Strong.
Horse show caused people to gaslight themselves into thinking Tara has this amazing range but you can usually tell when its her because she actually just has variations of the same handful of voices
something something HAFNIM
they didn't even reference the right fricking meme here. She's clearly doing the "no" face
>normie older millennial puts haha funni dead rage comic meme in their shitty reboot
I remember cringing so hard at this my face morphed into an old man
The PPG reboot is unironically kind of amazing because it holds up a mirror to the same audience that acknowledged the original was a pale attempt to parody magical girl anime. >the original was a pale attempt to parody magical girl anime
This is some weapons-grade schizophrenia.
The original was good tho
>it holds up a mirror to the same audience that acknowledged the original was a pale attempt to parody magical girl anime
What a dumb homosexual.
Y A MI QUE ME IMPORTA WEONA CONCHETUMARE
Surprised the ADL didn't have a problem with this.
That's what I was thinking lel
>anime sucks
>reboot sucks
>most of the OG episodes suck if we're being honest
Was PPG ever good?
Most of the OG episodes are either great or ok/mediocre, with the bad ones near the end of the show. I do think it’s massively overrated, and Craig has done better stuff
A small couple of episodes that are masterpieces are woth it all
PPG was only known as a merchandising giant and nothing more. It's pretty mediocre compared to other shows at the time like EEnE and Courage.
Season 2 and some of 3 was pure kino
>>most of the OG episodes suck if we're being honest
Frick you jerk
It's one of those show that have a lot of style, but lack substance. Early PPG is okay because it's not that removed from Craig's initial idea
Craig's stuff gets really odd when he's got full creative freedom
Why did we hate this again? Did you alll just polarize that one moment
No, it was pretty unfunny, the writing was very unoriginal, and the animation was flat
oh ok. I never saw it since it was never aired
It wouldn’t have gotten so much hate had it not have the PPG name on it.
Yeah but that's arguably why it was so hated. It was one of the first attempts at a clear cash-in reboot coasting on brand recognition rather than its own merit.
It wouldn't suck so much if it weren't for the fact that someone 4 years younger than you on the internet can feel decades younger. Let's face it, the first time most of us felt old online was when we turned 22.
It's honestly just bad, like the writing and animation is super terrible
Which was worse, PPG 2016 or Numaniacs?
I think PPG takes the cake because it's significantly worse in animation quality
Cinemaphile would have entire threads pointing out animation errors in nu-PPG episodes and find dozens of them in every single episode, sometimes multiple in the same shot
I would listen to the "reboot it" song on loop for 20 minutes before I sit down and watch an episode of PPG 2016, so probably Animaniacs. They're both pretty awful, though.
ppg 2016 had a shutterstock watermark in an actual episode
pic tbqh
i was around for most of the talkback threads and did a lot of shitting on the bad animation back then
also that cursor is in the clip itself
I hate both and I am very tempted to say Animaniacs because of how much I loved the original, however I think PPG 16 is likely objectively the worst.
Tambien
To emphasis how out of touch they are, this isn’t even the right fricking face.
I unironically believe this shitshow damaged Cartoon Network harder than the Boston bombscare
Did that really damage their rep? It was news for like a few days and everyone was just happy it was a misunderstanding.
