i loved snk but man reading that whole final arc, month by month. Awful awful experience. hated the ending too. Should've ended on ch123, everyone having failed to put things together before the end of the world, but still having one last opportunity to work together (or not)
The series was so much better before the whole Island reveal. After that it became muh racism and insanely complex with its new lore

The story went to shit immediately after Marley. People shitting on Armin's TNJ on Zeke while excusing Eren's TNJ on Ymir are blind and moronic.
Marley was good for the novelty of the perspective switch but once all the mystery boxes came into play it became clear just how inept the story was after it traded a dark fantasy mystery for yet another war allegory.
