when it comes to Hollywood it's all so tiresome, and they deserve the strikes, both sides the writers sucks, the studios sucks, and the actors suck
That could be interesting. It could be made like a Rashomon-type series for instance, with several episodes showing the invasion from different perspectives, including some of the characters who appeared in the movie
