I think most people liked his character arc and his memes like guel camp but Guesule does have a fanbase (its fanart numbers pale in comparison to sulemio though)
He had a good arc, some crazy good fights and and endless source of fun memes, people will remember fondly of him.
Same about Suletta ultimately, she failed her character growth but the fights were good, she was fun on a daily basis and the Tanuki meme were pretty cool.
Miorine doesn't offer any of that. People will mostly remember her being an angry c**t 2/3 of the show.

Well ignoring the times she purposefully hit her there's the matter of her orchestrating a big plan to seperate her from her mother... by going along with her mother's plans and rigging the last duel, all the while purposefully toying with her emotions by calling her useless and chucking that keychain at her. Even if her intentions were "It was for her own good" that really isn't something that will slide. And the fact that there's no actual reconciliation beyond Miorine calling the whole thing a mistake doesn't help either

It's arguably not even the best romance in Build Fighters, most people like the meatbun chronicles better. I still like Sei and China.

Why even stick so close to the work you're referencing? You're only limiting yourself, to the detriment of the final product. In the past, Okouchi just took concepts from folklore (geas, valravn) and wove them in into the story.
To be fair, it wasn’t referencing here, this was just a straight up mechs adaptation of the Tempest. People thought it was just referencing it at first but I feel like around the start of S2 people started saying it was more of an adaptation than taking inspiration from it which is still sad as frick.
