This. It's easy to see when you look at how Wonder Woman (and no one else) gets a dignified exit. It's just tearing down male characters because they're male. That's all a woman knows how to write.
The boss fight was a waste, should have been either
>similar setup as the museum encounter: you skulk around the Batcave avoiding booby traps while Batman stalks you, you have to shoot him or ward him off before he knocks your character out. Goes down in a couple of shots but does his best to hide from you. Game over if he takes all your guys out

If I were to do an Arkham Batman boss fight, I'd go for an Arkham City Mr. Freeze inspired stealth section where attempting to fight Batman directly results in him performing one of his takedowns on your character.
Of course for that the game has to be something other than a shitty looter shooter.
it's probably going to be gradually unveileld with the game as a service shit that Braniac was cloning the Justice League and the endegame will be the originals breaking out.

For some odd reason sensitivity readers never flag stuff that will piss off fans. You'd think that would dissuade studios from hiring them when games like this and Last of Us 2 come out.

It's strange that people are only highlighting how Batman gets murdered along with the rest of the League, and not, you know, the issues the game has like the unsatisfying loop, samey gameplay between characters, poor quality and variation with the actual loot, the disgusting amount of eye vomit going on, and the significant performance issues, to name a few. Call a bad game a bad game, but only if you can actually count off as to why it's a bad game, and not because it hurt your feelings.
Maybe it has something to do with most people having enough taste and standards to "play" it by watching cutscenes and gameplay on Youtube rather than buying this slop or even wasting time pirating it. God is my witness I'd do neither.
It's much less that people complain about it, and more of the fact that it's almost all they complain about. Shit on the game all you want, but it's just as important that people know why the game is shit, otherwise it's just a bunch of bandwagoning gays not understanding why they're actually angry or disappointed over a bad game being bad.
