I thought the suicide metaphor was done well, and the emotional payoff was good. Character design and animation were great, but the setting/landscape could've used some work so you feel more immersed in the world, but I guess it matches Nimona's very kiddie-safe looking transformations, which I assume were just loyal to the source material.
