Why didn't he ask the director to direct better and tell the gay to tone it down?
They don't share much screen time I think.
Dunno, never watched it. I doubt Vin cares much about anything except anyone outshining him.
Vin should just face the fact that he's spent most of his adult life filming these live-action saturday morning cartoons and accept it for what it is.
Street Sharks movie when!
>Vin Diesel criticizing anybody for overacting
kek.
when are we going to get Riddick 4???
> when are we going to get Riddick 4???
Hopefully never
>when are we going to get Riddick 4???
That franchise peaked with butcher bay.
>wanting old and fat riddick
Saturday morning cartoons unironically have better writing than those films, Transformers Animated and The Secret Saturdays blows most action films out of the water in terms of characters, themes, etc
I hate the way Jason Momoa and Ryan Reynold act.
Vin Diesel, bless his heart, takes these films very seriously. It’s literally his life. Therefore, he doesn’t like actors hamming it up and not taking themselves seriously. He sees it as disrespectful. His passion for the films is what makes them.
This honestly makes these movies suffer so bad. I ripped fast x on Friday and can’t stop thinking about how much better it would have been to stop taking the drama so seriously, stop inserting “comedy”, and just let the comedy come by embracing how ridiculous these movies are. They’re entertaining because they’re moronic silly car-fu movies not because they’re vin’s dramatic “lord of the rings” magnum opus or whatever the frick he said.
The contrast between Vin's gravelly monotone about FAMILY and MY SON and Momoa cackling and mincing around his scenes in fabulous shirts is funnier than any wacky car stunt could be.
Except for maybe when they cut back to Vin in Rome after like five minutes of the other characters and the bomb was still flying down roads at 100 mph like it had a mind of its own, that cracked me up. They hadn't established it was going down hills yet either so just seemed like it had infinite momentum.
Even Cena's scenes have him as a totally lighthearted silly uncle, which seems far more the tone the film should have.
>This honestly makes these movies suffer so bad
soulless bugman
Anon the fact that they play so much of it straight then go slap rockets on their cars is what makes these movies entertaining. If it was all goofball shit you'd end up with the modern MCU.
>nooo you're overacting
Hes suppose to be a mustache twirling villain, and he did what was asked. But a stoic piece of wood like Vin wouldn't understand acting
>Memeoa steals the show
FuriousX is going to suck, isn't it?
Half the time I see people complain about "overacting" it's a kino and passionate performance. Frick underacting, I want people acting their heads off.
This. It's the same people hating on National Treasure and calling it a bad film, when in fact both films are absolute adventure Kino and Nic Cage, Sean Bean and Diane Kruger are all excellent in them. The music is also amazing, it just plays it super straight and I love it.
get Cage in this series now, gone in 60 seconds crossover
I have never seen a single Fast and Furious movie.
You're not missing much. Each movie ramps up the moronic but around 4 or 5 is when it starts to get really stupid.
I'd probably be willing to pay to have my memory wiped of these movies just so I could watch em again back to back to back.
The moronation and insanity between the first movie and 5 is crazy let alone 8, 9, 10
i think i watched the 4th one with a rifftrax. can't really remember anything except really bad cgi cars going vroom real loud
The first couple were alright. Everything after is complete garbage.
I saw the first one and knew this was too cringe to watch any more.
I saw the third one
is that the japanese one with a Black person? I saw that one when I pirated it
I think I’ve seen bits and pieces of a few of them but I did have to watch that absolute dogshit rock spinoff with Statham and holy frick is it god awful
Stop after Tokyo Drift. If you ever played vidya like Need for Speed Underground, those early movies are a lot like that.
Same.
>no friends
>no car
homosexual revealed
i have 3 driving related world records and i have never watched it, infact the reason i've never watched gay and furry-r-us is BECAUSE i like cars and have friends
Ah yes. The random moron on Cinemaphile bringing up that he's a renowned world champion millionaire. A classic.
>fastest gay blowjob while driving
>fastest double gay blowjob while driving
>longest gearstick dildo penetration without crashing
Very impressive indeed.
Tokyo Drift is a work of art.
You're alright.
Watch the first three and then go straight into the last ones or The Rock's spin off for the biggest mind frick of your life.
woah woah bro, kick back. You aint seen Fast 2?
Don't be a slow-mo.
I remember that in the first one there's this scene where the bald racecar driver makes out with a chick in leatherpants and lifts her up and carries here over to the corner of the garage in order to have implied sex. Important scene.
I was forced to watch part of 2 in rehab
You missed nothing of worth
the 1st one is worth a watch
same and I never will watch that garbage
The first one is quintessential early 00s core.
The first is a straight rip off of Point Break, the second one is actually okay, three is kind of a spin off with different characters, all the others are trash but this last one was the first I haven't finished.
You aren't missing much but I think Tokyo Drift is worth checking out even if you aren't mexican
I WANDA IF YU NO
Doing yourself a disservice not watching the first one, very good film to capture a time period
Don't i just watched the first five on netflix and couldn't fall asleep quicker.
The first one and Tokyo drift are okay. Five is entertaining but stupid. The rest are moron.
>filtered by 2fast2kino
They all needed more Sarah Gadon.
None of these guys are even remotely good actors. The Pebble deserves special recognition as a steaming pile of dog shit though.
he can only act with hair
That was actually okay.
>Peter Dinklage
No thanks
I bet you the Rock wouldn't do a role like Momoa did here.
The Rick just plays The Rock in every movie.
Hell in this very film John Cena plays goofy uncle having played estranged bad guy brother in the last film. It's more range in two appearances than Rock's ever had in this series.
Pain and Gain?
>write flamboyant over the top villain
>cast actor eager to play again type for him and do a villainous sissy character
>complain about results
Sorry he didn't deliver all his lines in a slow gravelly monotone, Vin.
against type*
>gets mad at The Rock
>makes his character lose to Vin constantly
>try to ruin his credibility through dividing the actors
>makes Tyrese his personal attack dog
>gets mad at Aquaman
>talks shit about the actor's performance
Vin is a jealous b***h
>Aquaman!
It was a very camp villain but where was the director to tone Momoa down? Who wrote those lines or the scene where he shows up in drag?
Fake news. Vin has almost total creative control over the franchise at this point. Especially after chasing Justin Lin off.
>Vin
His name is Mark Vincent
The character was very clearly supposed to be an over the top memorable villain, since this franchise has generally had pretty uninteresting villains (and the few that weren't turned into good guys). He even wins at the end of this movie. If that's overshadowing Diesel, they got exactly what they asked for. Momoa was quite open about being eager to play a villain and a wacky one at that after only really playing gruff burly good guys his whole career.
He might be aquaman but with this attitude he could NEVER join la familia. Here's hoping he learns to tone it down. Salud.
damn
Isn't the Rock/Diesel beef just a piece of theatre to generate publicity for the films? It's like wrestlers shit-talking each other and it appeals to the same audience.
Given how b***hy Rock turned out to be about other things, and how b***hy Vin is about just about anything, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a real dislike or at least egos chafing, that they nonetheless played up for publicity because they're showmen at heart and Rock knows well from wrestling that there's no real life drama you can't turn into an angle.
I think that one was real. Rumor has it that Dwayne filmed his post credits scene for Fast X only a few months before release. Gisele showing up in the submarine was the originally intended post credits scene.
Nah they actually refuse to be on set together now, they even gave the rock his own spin off movie but it flopped
No it didn't.
>Budget: $200 million
>Box Office: $760.7 million
Not as big as the peak of F&F but the series has been in decline over the 8th to 10th entries anyway, it peaked in 7.
This movie really showed how unwieldy the cast has become. It's just way too big. Their refusal to kill anyone off, even moving to resurrect characters previously killed off for real, and introducing new characters every single film means the cast list is bloated and straining at the sides.
There was an entire "miscellaneous" group of La Familia in this entry whose role in the film was basically "try to get back to the plot", and that was it, every time you cut back to them, they're trying to get back to the actual plot. You could cut all of it and lose nothing whatsoever of the actual story of Momoa versus Vin, with the subplot of John Cena and Vin's strangely black son. Those were the only scenes that actually mattered. Several of the gang should have sat out films if they didn't have a notable role, but Vin has his cast and he insists on them always being in. The only one who has retired is the one whose actor is actually dead.
They even introduced new La Familia in this one. Brie Larson's character was totally superfluous and could have been anyone really. Kind of feels like Vin just wanted to get her in the movie or something. Daniela Melchior's character actually had relevance to the plot and made a good impression, although it's another family member previously unmentioned (in a movie whose villain is also another family member previously unmentioned, following last film whose villain was another family member previously unmentioned), making her another character who can't NOT come back. I will give them kudos for playing successfully with the expectation of antagonistic characters becoming La Familia for the late film twist, that was something different.
But yeah, they have like forty too much . Jason Statham even popped up for one action scene, even after heading off into his own spinoff, again, he had no actual purpose, he was just like checking in.
You are an avid student of the familia, mi familia.
Salud.
My question is how am I supposed to buy them supposedly killing off Jacob when they literally end the movie resurrecting Gal Gadot's character after she died all the way back in number 6? Han was just resurrected after blowing up on screen all the way back in 3.
>Han was just resurrected after blowing up on screen all the way back in 3.
When does Lucas Black get to make Vin feel insecure? They met at the end of Tokyo Drift.
Lucas Black looks about 60, I wouldn't worry if I was Vin.
He was in 7 and 9. He looks kinda old, despite his character in theory still being in his 20s given the weird timeline frickery.
Oh, 2bh I stopped watching after 5.
Good choice probably, 5 was probably the best overall. I'm in for the long haul now despite them being nonsense.
This character was the perfect replacement for Bryan, it's ridiculous how much of a good fit it was. Sadly the actor is old af.
So is most of the cast?
>here's that high school kid I was tellin you about
It's confirmed Jacob is coming back for the next movie.
See? Everyone is just alive now.
>Brie Larson's character was totally superfluous and could have been anyone really. Kind of feels like Vin just wanted to get her in the movie or something. Daniela Melchior's character actually had relevance to the plot and made a good impression,
God she looked leathery as frick in her scenes in this movie, not helped by her having to briefly share the screen with Melchior who looks like pure silk. Not aging well, that Brie.
Indeed
She was in F&F? I'm glad I stopped after the third one, in fact I only watched the 1st and 3rd one
She was barely in the newest one. Didn't have much of a role.
I know a 2 pack-a-day smoker with better skin
How soon will she answer the call?
soon, my son
Why do nordic white women have such disgusting skin once they hit 30+??
She's gaining weight again
she should shoot the photographer that made her pose like that.. slouched over, neck looks fat jawline looks extra wide breasts are turned into the body instead of projecting from the body.
Dont post so HD pics of Larson
Decent breasts and all, but her skin is already looking so old, she's gonna look really bad by her late 30s.
>she's gonna look really bad by her late 30s.
this applies to all women
No it doesn't.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
smooth
What causes such a disparity? They're only a few years apart in age
5 years alone make a huge difference. Women wall hard at 30.
isn't daniela 31? yet she still looks divine
And yet there are many people as old as Brie or older that don't have her leathery look. You try too hard to instill strict rules.
>roastie angry at the truth
Only men. If you're over 30 as a woman it's over.
No.
post selfie so we can laugh at your post-wall mug
>us men, huh? we're all cherubic angels forever!
28
Correct
dumb post, Brie never looked like Daniela does now, except maybe as a teenager
How does such an autistic woman keep getting rolls?
her and Vin bonded over DnD
She was embarrassing to watch on screen.
It'd be like slapping a leather belt to my balls, but i still would. Goddamn right i would.
Is Vin Diesel Italian or Latino? Which familia is this?
He's a mystery meat mutt that larps as a Black person
He's mulatto. Surprised me when I found out. I thought he was just ugly. He's as black as Obama.
dunno
In F&F, he's vaguely latino, maybe afro-latino, we see his father who is latino, his brother is white, his young actor looks mixed latino/white/black combo of some sort
somehow he has a son with a white woman in F&F, who is also shown having a white sister in this movie, but somehow his son is just black, and darker than both parents combined
He's African American lol. He's a Melungeon.
Gal coming back was the tip of the iceberg, no pun intended.
This talentless plank is everywhere, it's a nightmare
>Han established in the third film to be a heartbroken guy, before his death
>Appears before that in four, five and six with the relationship that left him heartbroken and living in Japan for the third one, she dies at the end of six
>Han's death given extra meaning by knowing all this happened beforehand, they even add a photo of her in his slightly reshot final scene when they retcon in Statham's character as having caused the fatal crash
>Several films on, wait, actually Han is alive and never died at all
>The next film, wait actually Gisele is alive and never died at all
So that entire full circle tragic romance plot that filled in the backstory of a likable character who nonetheless died in his first appearance is now rendered entirely pointless.
The best part is that the guy who tried killing him is now part of la familia
And the villain who by proxy caused Gisele's "death" is also alive AND free, and technically reconciled with La Familia as well though not buddy buddy.
So that whole story streak of 5-7 is just kind of hilarious in hindsight as they've rendered pretty much all aspects of the characters and endings there moot.
Vin was outacted by an eternally buoyant bomb in this movie.
I used to think The Rock was the problem on set, but Vin gets into bullshit with everyone.
Also, Hobbs and Shaw was what Fast and Furious should've been.
>The Rock was the producer
She doesn’t have the arm. There’s no triangle here.
>Rock saw this scene in MI Fallout and got her in his spinoff movie to play earmuffs
2020s are so bad we have to pretend this chick is some sex symbol.
Do we? I've never seen her portrayed as a sex symbol, she's mostly in drama films.
>GET OFF MY SISTER!!!!
>I live for this shit.
hahaha complaining about overacting IN THIS?!
Momoa just doesn't get the subtle facial expressions and vocal inflections that have always been the staple of the fast and furious franchise
Wtf? How did they even film that? Drones? Tom cruise must be jealous as frick
Holy shit I can't breathe. Pure fricking schlock.
I'd be so much more down for these movies if their lead didn't act like he was creating high art. Mamoa is spot on with how to treat this, Vin is just delusional and insecure.
The fact that he acts like he's creating high art is what makes it kino. It wouldn't be the same if Vin knew it was shlock. It's why The Room is hilarious but Sharknado is boring.
the kid died
No he didn't
>well, I'm no physicist, but
How can he complain about over acting when the movie has scenes like this?
Are you actually supposed to buy that that kid is Vin's? He's got Black DNA all over him.
familiabros...
>implying Roman could make it with a woman
I know this is Fast & Furious but please, we need to keep to at least a certain level of realism.
I mean he's a black American according to the one drop rule. His paternal line is Black but his actual autosomal is mostly European.
>I know the Torettos have quite the mixed bloodlines, but I never detected an African strain
Wait. Why is his kid black now? Is the same kid that was revealed a few movies ago when he became a villain?
Here is your answer:
because....dunno
he's literally darker than both parents combined
and introduced his aunt in this movie...who is white, again
Brutal mogging
>tfw no cute iberian gf
She's so fricking perfect, bros..
Daniela is cute. And hot. I hope we'll see more of her in the future.
nice butt
She'll certainly be back in the next one, given how much emphasis Dom's son has gotten, and she's his aunt.
>that Iberian SOVlful euro phenotype
>that peach-shaped ass
>those perfectly sized cute breasts
She is a 10/10.
>cute
>sexy
>loves animals
>progressive
Name a more perfect woman to ever exist
Brie Larson
So 1 person, that's nothing
Brie is wife material.
You forgot
>Comes in pale or brown varieties with the use of just a little suntanning
>Wait. Why is his kid black now?
This is Vins real life twin brother...
So John Cena being his brother in this is less preposterous than we thought?
Yes this is what a white Caribbean would look like. We look like literal israelites as kids lol
If this was in a Kojima video game people would lose their fricking minds
It wouldn't be in a Kojima game though would it?
Yes context matters
>i'm... black?
This is literally a Hot Wheels car on a Hot Wheels stunt track
Here's why that's a good thing
They need to stop hiring pajeets
One of the only worthy parts of the movie.
great with audio
Does Vin Diesel just not get along with a lot of people? It seems every time a new star comes in, he does not like them.
He's got a very large yet very fragile ego.
only good thing about the puke, I mean movie
he had good timing and delivery, as silly as the lines were
>bomb presumably weighs several tons
>bounces for fifteen minutes through Rome like a cat is batting a rattle ball toy
It didn't even cause a dent in the car's frame
>no fun allowed homosexuals.
You are the same morons that ruined James Bond. No instead of moonraker, where Bond battles evil goon army in space, we get tryhard grim dark bond
>James bond was never good though. Best part of those movies was making him sleep with a Jap to become a Jap lol
this is truly moronic
kek these are just Bollywood movies at this point
If anything Momoa was on point here with the ridiculousness
its just bollywood with infinitely more money and slightly better editing
everyone on that bridge still got vaporized
There's a bridge missing, but they accidentally forgot to remove it in one scene.
Oh I know why he's salty. Momoa stole the flick. Sorry, Vinnie, but your shtick is getting old.
He crossed Vins zest line, simple as
salud
Dante was basically the same as Cipher, except wacky and clownish instead of monotone and stoic.
In a movie where he uses nitro boost to pull a helicopter out of the sky and then swing it around as a flail against Momoa's car (which also allows his son to jump from one car seat to the other seamlessly), he is complaining about Momoa being over the top?
Someone post the submarine scene
4 is the best one and I'm tired of pretending otherwise
5*
8*
Sometimes they're doing something like chasing a neutron bomb landmine on fire rolling through the streets of Rome towards the Vatican and you think about when they were stealing shipments of VCRs and DVD players.
I alaws thought Jason Momoa couldn't act to save his life until I saw him in See. Dude carried the show.
he was usually picked for being big buff dude and nothing else was expected from him
tbf it was cringe as frick acting
>herrr he has mental issues
This series got so pathetic I don't even care pirating the movie. It's beyond rediculous, and I even managed the "car with rockets strapped to them to get to outer space"
Why is Vin Diesel such a little b***h?
haha
Vin Diesel knows that the franchise can't be taken ultra series at this point?
He's giving shit to Momoa for having fun with the role as the VILLAIN?
Vinnie should focus on more Riddick films instead. They’re all rewatchable. The only rewatchable fast flicks are 2 fast and tokyo drift. Every thing else is garbage even the first one, but the first one is decent.
I think he wants to but they don't make as much money as the Fast movies so he makes those to finance Riddick stuff. I think the 4th one is confirmed.
He tried with fantasy stuff but it didn't catch on only Riddick was liked and the last movie wasn't as popular
they've made ten (+1) of these fricking things why isn't f&f fatigue kicking in with general audiences yet?
Well the mcu is what, 30 films/shows deep and still going
It did. F7 was the peak gross wise, particularly domestically it's been in decline for a while, international is where it was massive, but that's declined with the last couple as well
They're also in trouble from the ever ballooning budgets, this one reached 340M due to the delays from losing Justin Lin mid-production and having to get a new director, and the cast salaries have grown to be huge since Vin keeps collecting more and more La Familia and the longer they're in the series the more they can command, and it's not like they're knocking on Tyrese Gibson's door so he's holding onto his paycheck from these like a man gripping something tightly.
who do you think the next villain will be, and no picking Idris Elba since he was already in the Rock spinoff.
It's Momoa, he straight up won in Fast X, he's still the bad guy for at least the next one.
They are supposed to have two left. Jason Momoa will probably be the villain of the next one but I don't see them going past that. It's a bit late to be bringing in another new villain only for the last film, so I guess it will be Charlize Theron, unless they make the mistake of La Familia'ing her despite having introduced her specifically as a villain to be entirely detestable and unFamilia.
So the answer to your question is Johnny Tran returning as a robo-man finally back for revenge on Toretto after twenty years
After Paul Walker called in Johnny it is reasonable.
>cops came into my house, disrespected my whole family
The anti family actions from the first movie will finally catch up to the familia
There's also that guy from the second movie. Even in the movie it was hinted he will return. Maybe a little push for Tyrese Gibson to have a little badassery ?
kek, Momoa was the only one in that shitfest who actually tried to create a fun character. Vin gets so sour with age, holy shit. Insecure homosexual.
He was the best as Ronan. I don't give a frick what you CHUDS think.
is he the biggest drama queen in hollywood?
I stopped watching these movies literally more than a decade ago.
How the frick is the asian guy alive? Didn't he die in the 3rd movie or something?
he was just too popular to drop. surprisingly his protege, the main character from the 3rd movie, is now largely irrelevant.
Yes, but the fourth, fifth and sixth movies took place before the third, because they liked working with him and fans really liked him so they wanted to keep him around longer despite his character's death. Then he finally died at the end of the sixth and it caught up with the third timeline wise, but also he was actually killed by the villain of the seventh movie in a retcon. Then that villain turned good in the eighth movie and got a spinoff with the Rock where his evilest deeds were retconned out, leaving only his murder of said asian guy and beloved member of the team hanging over things.
Then the ninth film retconned that he never died at all and faked his death for secret plot reasons.
So yeah.
Thanks for the QRD, anon.
Glad I stopped watching. This plot is moronic.
overacting?
we have come a long way from EJECTO SEATO
What the frick? Do these guys know how cars and physics work? No way that car would be functional after that drop, let alone landing on other fricking vehicles.
Yes, I'm sure they know, anon. It's a movie.
Yeah but Vin shouldn't act like he's making high cinema here when there is this goofy shit going down, back when I was a trainee I had coworker trainees who legit thought F&F shit was real and I almost died because of that shit.
Never be a passenger of a moron driver!
Daily reminder that the Fast and Furious cast includes
Ludacris - rapper
Tyrese - r&b singer
John Cena - pro wrestler
Dwayne Johnson - pro wrestler
It’s almost like Vin Diesel prefers working with people whose main career choice isn’t acting. Almost like actual actors would make him look bad in comparison.
John Cena's main occupation has been acting since about 2015 or so and Rock's main occupation has been acting for close to twenty years, considerably longer than he was a wrestler. Cena's also a considerably better actor than Vin is.
2017* or so, jumping the gun there on myself, he was still splitting time between the two in 2015 and mostly doing smaller roles then
Point is that Rock and Cena leveraged their wrestling success to break into Hollywood. If they had no prior wrestling success, they probably wouldn’t be offered the roles they’ve gotten.
The series has had Helen Mirren, Luke Evans and Kurt Russell in it, they go circles around Vin.
it was the best part of Fast X
It was better than F9, which felt extremely phoned in and lacking in any new ideas. Probably better than F8 as well. Still dumb as frick but it at least had a decent villain and played around with a few of the series clichés they'd amassed. But still too long by twenty minutes, you could have cut everything with the rest of the team pottering around Europe and missed nothing, they were totally irrelevant.
Now hold on just a minute. Was i suppose to take these movies seriously all this time? not as action shlock but as legitimate cinema?
Mamao carried that poc and seemed to br the only one playing up to the absurdity that is the fast and furious franchise.
>not taking the film seriously.
The whole film is a joke
>heart-felt moment moment of Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez talking about their marriage
>cuts to a wedding photo of them
>Vin is wearing a white vest
I pissed myself laughing right there. That's Austin Powers level of spoofery.
>The whole film is a joke
-felt moment moment of Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez talking about their marriage
>>cuts to a wedding photo of them
>>Vin is wearing a white vest
Wtf. Does he even own a overshirt?
Why would I watch this movie when I could just rewatch The Pacifier?
>Dom is latino
>His father is latino
>His grandmother is latina
>His brother is white
>His babymomma is white
>His son is black
Was that random scene of Momoa talking to two corpses he propped up in chairs a little out of place? Evil villain or not it seemly oddly disturbing for this series which usually keeps violence to a very PG minimum despite the oodles of car related mayhem and goons dispatched.
The rat torture scene in 2Fast was pretty disturbing, but that film had more of a crime film tone so it worked.
He really does think he's the big important one huh
Why are these manly man character actors always basedboy homosexuals in real life
Vin has always been an insecure geek eager to always portray himself as an unstoppable badass in films. F&F, Riddick, xXx, all do that.
wasn't Vin Diesel's son here a full-blooded black even though neither he or the chick that is supposed to be the mother of that kid in the continuity aren't black. They just made him a cuck for no discernible reason. What a strange decision. It can't be the Rock's kid too because he's not black either so what is up with that?
"adopted" step son on the request of the waifu
I don't trust those bullshit clickbait titles.
Momoa scenes are the only part of the movie that is watchable
>Vin diesel
>make a le serious face while driving down a skyscraper while the entire city is being nuked
>"noo you can't just overact and ham it up, you have to be serious and epic like me"
This is now a Daniela thread
Sure
Ok this is way sexier than it should be
It's a real rollercoaster of a trilogy
She'll be playing Louie Lane soon

>PLEASE HIRE ME
hot
Haven't seen the movie but my parents couldn't stand his acting. Apparently they felt like he debased himself with this role.
Momoa's character was one of the worst part of the movie.
Almost every single scene he did something really gay, like he wanted to be some homosexual latino version of the Joker
The only good scenes were the ones where he played it more serious like the car race where he made Dom choose whether to save his friend or his dead wife's sister.
Fast 9 was much better.
More like the best part. He was better than most of the previous villains. Also, part 9 was awful aside from some flashback racing scenes.
the only fast bad guy more annoying and more detrimental to a movie's overall quality than momoa is maybe cypher, but even then it's momoa
Cypher maybe, but if Momoa was truly that bad, there wouldn't be articles like the one in OP popping up
No, there would. of course vin diesel would be annoyed if momoa insisted on playing every single scene extremely quirky and gay and reddity and made Vin's movie worse as a result.
Most people seem to agree he was the component that salvaged the movie
by "most people" you mean effeminate magazine movie critics who dislike Fast movies in general but make themselves watch them for their job . it stands to reason that they'd like the most ill-fitting part.
No, I'm talking about the regular audience. If his character was just another le tough guy LARP it would've been boring. At least his approach was unique.
Even if his performance was literally exactly the same as Reyes that would have been a huge improvement over the try-hard quirky, flamboyantly gay , annoying redditor performance
No it wouldn't
>he thinks fast movies are masculine.
No it wasn't.
Half Jack Sparrow, half Joker, 100% over-the-top.
The funny thing is his hamming up an obviously hammy role was the best part of the flick.

He made the entire movie a fricking joke. Imagine if Johnny Tran or Jason Statham or his brother acted like that. Idk wtf this gay french director was thinking but he better not be back for the sequel. I don't blame mamoa he's just following what the director is telling him to do and not do
>noooooooooo all villains MUST be SERIOUS!!!! you cannot deviate EVER!
Holy frick can you imagine if Michael corleone was some flamboyant gay like best movie evar!!! have a nice day
>what is context
>comparing The Fast & The Furious 10 to The Godfather
Fast 10 is significantly superior to The Godfather
I'd catch her rat, if you know what I mean
>this is a 10/10 in colombia
You will never be approached by a woman as beautiful as this
seething whitoid
is Vin literally me? he seems to have trouble keeping other alphas on a leash in his own franchise
Vin Diesel is the worst part about these cringe fest movies he lacks everything. he can frick off.
daniela mogs every women in exietence
She's cute, but nah. You could literally walk through the streets right now and find better.
as long as she doesn't open her mouth
Vin Diesel is nothing compared to my man Din Viesel
so does paul walkers wife show up in these films anymore? if so, how do they explain her husband missing all the time? is he still alive in that universe?
Yes, every film is essentially Brian is off screen protecting the kids now.
>inb4 the finale ends with Vin Disel physically having cloned Paul Walker just so the character can be reborn on screen
Maybe Diesel was actually the bad guy all along. Yet another pretty boy comes along to threaten his spotlight and drama starts
I like the F&F formula in the script.
Intro(with lots of cgi chase scenes ) -> character intros( like a fighting video game character ) -> cgi chase scene -> barbecue 1 -> chase scene 2 -> barbecue 2-> chase scene 3 -> final barbecue -> end credits
now i want bbq and a beer, f&f really is the perfect summer movie.
have a sunny morning bbq with family -> watch f&f -> go home and relax with friends around bbq
the mexicans, children, and literal morons that watch dont care about acting. they just want to see zoomzoom
anyone else remember helen mirrens character started out with a wienerney(?) accent then in later movies its more of a posh one. she forgot her own character
>she forgot her own character
>implying she did it for anything but money
Bong actors view acting like a job, mainly, and rarely care about MUH CRAFT and MUH MOTIVASHUN like homosexual method actors and the like. Heed the words of based Mick Caine:
>However, Caine later claimed: "I have never seen it [the film], but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific!"[32]
