>NOOOOO I DON'T WANT TO COOK FOOD ANYMORE AHHHHH

>NOOOOO I DON'T WANT TO COOK FOOD ANYMORE AHHHHH

Why didn't he just quit his job, go back to Uni to study computer science and get a high six figure salary working from home full time? Instead of killing himself?

    >learn to code meme
I tried the learn to code bullshit and that is the most tedious shit I think I have ever done in my life. If that was my career I would fricking kill myself. Every IT or tech guy I have ever met have been bitter and depressed homosexuals and I totally understand why.

How does anyone get into that line of work and are like "HEY ITS MY PASSION I LOVE THIS".

What were you learning and what part specifically did you struggle with?

All of it really. I was also trying to use an online course I bought so maybe if I had someone help me it would have been easier but at the same time I was just bored out of my fricking mind doing it.

I think its just how my brain works. Some people are good at that shit and some people aren't. I went back to working in film. Even though I'm not making as much as a tech bro IT guy I am definitely happy as frick.

You make do a point that some people are more programming inclined if you will, however you shouldn't have thrown the towel so easily. Programming is the type of thing you need to attack from different angles if the first route doesn't work. For example, for some people trying automate something is the way to go.
Glad you found contentment in film.

Even if you don't become a programmer, I'd suggest you give it a go since programming is problem solving and that's rewarding in and of itself.

I might give it another go. I was learning Python which is apparently a pretty good starting point from what I've heard.
I'm just more artistically inclined though and I'm good at Black person work. Right now I'm on the grip team for a company that produces music videos for zoomer musicians.

It’s a good starting point, yeah. Once you know OOP, it’s a lot easier to learn the other languages. If you’re good at googling stuff you’re pretty much set, by the way.

the hospital network i work for used to have IT gods and then outsourced 95% of that shit a few years back. between outsourcing and consolidation, there are only a handful of IT people on-site anymore and they hardly do anything nowadays. i talk regularly with one of them and he likes to joke that the last time having a degree in comp-sci was a ticket to wealth was 2005.
