Comedy is a minefield now. Can't poke fun at anybody anymore for fear of getting canceled. Can't have hilarious scenes like pic related anymore because the troons will throw a baby tantrum.
basically capeshit from marvel does the normie comedy now
disney is so evil that they even try to take over normie comedy
I can't wait for them to die

frick off homosexual. all the insufferable liberal urbanites I went to high school with tell the same unfunny self-depreciating suicide jokes because they aren't allowed to make fun of anyone other than themselves. They are constantly terrified and policing each other. I hate them.
Think of the most recent, good, comedy movie made that you have seen. What movie? What year? It must be a movie that actually made you laugh out loud uncontrollably. It can't just be a movie that technically fits into the comedy genre, that didn't laugh at, but you enjoyed because you thought that it was clever or had a good story (i.e. British comedy).
I don't really laugh out loud at anything. It's more like a tickle in my brain or at most uncotrollable exhale through my nose. I think plenty of stand up specials are funny as hell but I don't think I've ever seriously laughed at any of them. I feel like being overly emotional and exaggerating everything is an american thing just like laugh tracks.
I honestly couldn't think of one so i had to pull up a list on IMDB and got these
Parasite - Loved it but it's not a comedy
The Nice Guys - I liked that too but don't remember actually laughing, it was just a nice entertaining movie
Sing Street - Another great movie but not laugh out loud funny
etc
The last movie i actually laughed at would have been The Lobster.
comedy films are a joke
comedy doesnt work in movie form
It absolutely does if you turn off netflix and watch some proper ones.
well that and cooking. i don't mean that as a 'le womyn in da kitchen' thing just saying i've never met a leftist that could cook worth a damn unless they did it for a living
Unbearable Weight was pretty funny.
But the only times I've actually loled uncontrollably were watching Kung Pow Enter the Fist and Ace Ventura When Nature Calls when I was a kid.
Life has become more absurd than any movie could be.

Is Thor Love and Thunder a comedy?
A comedy for children if anything.

>waaah you need to make fun of people to be funny
not that anon but frick me, you've got to make fun of SOMETHING, don't ya?
no but it seems you need to strawman in order to argue

Only good woke comedy is The boys cast
Don't watch it but I'm not sure that shit is supposed to be funny.

>What movie? What year?

people don't generally like it but it actually made me laugh several times, which is astounding nowadays
Unironically Batman vs The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. It was relatively new i think maybe 3 years old.
>laugh out loud uncontrollably
Ice Age with a friend when I was 8
Last good comedies I can think of was Tropic Thunder or the Other Guys. Haven't laughed at any movie since then

Atrocious movie
I liked Bill & Ted Face the Music
Bad movie but had some very funny moments
There has been a great comedy movie released however.
Is it good though?
No, it is great
Best comedy in a decade.
These two movies
Agreed. I haven't watched any comedies from the 2020's but I don't need to in order to know they are all crap.
i know judd apatow movies got oversaturated for a bit but they were pretty reliable laughs. i miss that era
king of staten island isnt bad
how so
comedy sucks
if theres one single thing the lefties are bad at its gotta be being funny
well that and cooking. i don't mean that as a 'le womyn in da kitchen' thing just saying i've never met a leftist that could cook worth a damn unless they did it for a living
they come from people who hate themselves and don’t like life
why would they know anything about flavor
Last good comedy I remember seeing was Tropic Thunder, for exactly the reasons nobody would ever film that shit these days.
comedy films are a joke

American politics since 2015 is funnier than anything they can muster
Unbearable Weight was pretty funny.

>good comedy

The Death of Stalin?
Beavis & Butthead
I laughed several times
what sells now is international sales, and humor doesn't translate well across different cultures, unless you want to do slapstick or something
Freddy Got Fingered 2001 right before the israelites stabbed America in the back with 9/11
