You can easily tell it was a standalone 12-issue series before it got picked up for tv production so Tynion goes full moron immediately after the first arc.

first two arcs are kino. There's a hilariously bad spin-off that reads like Buck Breaking reactionary shitpost.
I really don't know why he's trying so hard with House of Slaughter. No matter what he does with Aaron, his eventual fate is getting btfo in seconds to a few baby monsters. He was a joke character that doesn't really deserve his own prequel series to flesh out.

House of Slaughter is not really specifically about Aaron, it's an anthology series focusing on different house of slaughter characters, first arc was about Aaron, current one is about some scarlet mask,

I liked the plot in Wisconsin from the first 3 but would have liked a new hunt in a new location instead of a flashback/flashback exposition dump
