I think it just makes the most sense if Bateman was a schizophrenic who was having hallucinations, and he didn't actually kill anyone. The later parts of the movie like the woman fleeing from his apartment, and his rampage in public have a dreamlike unreal quality to them.
I'm a sucker for serif fonts, I'd take either batemans or van pattens
Layout isnt great on them both, I think I would prefer the plain texture of batemans though

they all have the same number but bateman has a secretary so the others must too. so you have to call in to one secretary and ask to get transferred to whoever and then you get *their* secretary and then have to get transferred again to the actual person?
It's because Patrick doesn't realize he is just talking to himself. The guy had a psychotic break from reality. An unreliable narrator. There's a lot of stuff in the book like that too. He is rich but not the kind that can get away with just having a cleaning lady show up and deal with the mess he leaves behind.

Bateman's card is the best. Maybe those tacky fonts were something in the 80's but Bateman's card stands the test of time with class and taste.

Bateman's looks best but the phone number and business are awkwardly low, David's and Paul's are superior in that regard. Paul's would be good if we weren't 15 years or so into M I N I M A L I S M as an aesthetic. I hate the push for a lack of bezels and Paul's card is emblematic of that horrible design trend.
Timothy's is the worst. There's nothing good about it whatsoever. The colors actually are subtly different and his is awful.
David's would be good but the font and pattern are extremely off-putting. If it were on Bateman's card color it might be viable.
