Well, one could say that a war hero with actual fighting experience and some fair physical advantage would've easily killed a guy who was after all, just an overconfident actor

Bruce Lee was at peak physical fitness and a master of technique, pretty sure he can take some dumbass who knows how to fight because he pretends to in movies. If you think being taller is going to mean something when you're fighting somebody who literally created their own martial art, you're moronic. Even in heavily regulated professional fighting, the taller man doesn't always win.

I don't know why assume that Cliff had no real experience in hand-to-hand combat. And why you treat Bruce Lee like some sort of offical world champion of MMA when in reality he was just an actor. Trained in martial arts, but an actor.

Tyson was just short for a heavyweight, when compared to most boxers he was still fairly tall. Actually the thing about boxing is it’s not a lanklet sport. If you’re a lanklet you’re going to die. Everyone is typically within a few inches of each other and their weights are maxed for a certain class, you never see some lanklet trying to box a sufficiently large manlet for the same weight class.

A lot of boxers are like 5’6, he was just short for his weight class, what I meant was when you take them by weight classes they’re all typically about the same size.

              >Mike Tyson was relatively short for a boxer
Tyson was fighting at 220 at 5'10 in his prime. Half of his wins were KOs with a few in the first round. Bruce Lee was a out 100 lbs lighter than he was. Lee wouldn't of lasted a single round with someone like Mike let alone Ali.

Why aren't their more Bruce Lee's in MMA?
They're all kick boxers, even the jujitsu guys get wrecked unless they can take it to the ground

            Anonymous

Because MMA rules in no way resemble real fighting, and heavily favor wrestling, so no surprise, everyone ends up as a wrestler. Even just letting someone strike down at the back of your head makes a huge difference to whether your takedown attempt would work or not. In the stilted rules of MMA, Bruce would have to adapt to dominate, no question. In a street fight, that's a different game. Most MMA-only guys honestly wouldn't even win a bar fight.

              Anonymous

idk, watch the video I posted, it is the closet thing I've seen to a real street fight where both guys can fight.
There is no "real fighting" on the street, just one guy dominating another or a few punches thrown, going to the ground and one pummeling the other with blows.
The rules in MMA are to not hit the balls, stop when tap out/KO

                Anonymous

                >The rules in MMA are to not hit the balls, stop when tap out/KO
No, it's a lot more than that. You can't even punch the back of the head. Striking is crippled compared to grappling, thats why grappling is so dominant in MMA and not in real life.

Basically all of Tarantino's films are filled with "wet dreams" and freudian slips of various grudges and urges, whether you can see past that is up to you and your taste in directors but you saying that the character isn't real is just a really stupid point.

Don’t call their bluff, swing into their mouth/side of their jaw as hard as you can and do not stop throwing your fist until they stop moving or run away, you don’t even have to connect just be the first to swing.
