Those aren't scripts, they're prompts/ideas like reality TV shows use. These types of shows rely on improv centered around a core plot, very simple format that has been done for decades. Nobody ever thought it was "real".

I think I still basically believe them when they say it was all more or less spontaneous and they only did reshoots when they did exterior stuff and people disrupted the shoot as the show got more well-known. In the gorilla suit episode at one point either by sheer accident or what I don't know you do see Kenny chilling on the couch when the edit is supposed to be him going apeshit (if I recall correctly) so there's always been doubts. I thought the only funny episode was the "Who Do Black People Like More", where Kenny recorded Spenny berating him while he was dressed like a black mammy, but then edited the footage to make it look like Spenny was berating some nice old black lady, and then showed it to the black guys.
