Some darkie. You know that's what they'll do for leftoid good boy points. A real answer would be Mads Mikkelsen but they pissed him away on his tiny role in Dr. Strange.

There are no actors currently alive that would be fitting to play Doom and also do not have the ego to be in a movie with their face covered for the whole runtime.

The whole runtime? You honestly think they will skip how he got those scars?

It will be 95% cgi, they just need an actor to do the voice, yes he'll do half cocen of scenes deaged and that will be it.

This. They need to hire a body actor and a voice actor but I just fricking know that they will refuse. Despite literally being owned by the same people who do Darth Vader with the same setup.

Needs to be a true thespian. I pick Mark Rylance. I've seen Denzel Washington suggested but I thought he stunk as Macbeth and I feel like that should be the baseline for someone playing Doom. He's better suited for Eugene O'Neil/August Wilson-type roles.

Remember a time before Disney bought Fox where Fox wanted to release a Doctor Doom movie with the producer of the Legion TV show? I wonder if they are recycling that.

He said in an interview Disney let him know, after a few check-ins, they wouldn't use any of his material so don't expect a credit. However he did get a greenlight for his Alien adaptation/series/whatever-it-will-be.

Unironically this. Cage would be an amazing Doom.

I absolutely do not like Nick Cage. But sadly, I cannot refute the notion that he would 100% ham it up with a strong, egotistical filled voice if given the chance to play a power hungry dictator. He'd be fully on board, all of his effort mode.

I greatly support this. Cage is a great actor and could capture doom's descent into madness and magic well.

it's already bad enough how many people dickride this man in comic, but now his normal ppl will be dickriding him like rick from rick and morty, thinking theyre edgy and cool for liking a dictator who's alone but has high intelligent potential jus "like them"

Well from the photos online and the last movei I would say it's too young (for the face) but mikkelsen yeah too old, we need a middle ground. Well let's see marvel who cast, hope someone based.

Easily Mads Mikkelsen would be the best possible actor for Doom - his age is irrelevant to the character (it's not an action-packed, intensive role).

If he's gonna be in a mask then his double-casting isn't super relevant.

I would also say Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as a potentially decent pick.

Really all we need is a voiceover actor like James Earl Jones did for Darth Vader

honestly at this point i'd be down if the plan is to Darth Vader him with Doom only being unmasked in his final appearance.

Just have him digitally de-aged so he doesn't look the same for the 10% of the movie without his mask on

Wait what? If true that’s actually great. Doom is the rare Marvel villain to carry his own film. Better than cramming him into another F4 film with haste

I don't know about this, a Doctor Doom movie has the potential to lead to something really dangerous. Thousands of alienated young disfigured Romani sorcerers are going to see themselves reflected in Victor and attempt to imitate him. There are going to be mass launchings of the Baxter Building into space. Theaters are banning metal masks and green hoodies, and some refuse to show the movie altogether. Acolytes of Mephisto are preparing to stand by at theaters near military bases. This is a risk we cannot afford to take, no matter how many standing ovations the film receives.

He did that villain in No Time to Die and he had even those scars on the face, he is to small maybe, but the MCU is full of manlets.
