Sisko is the second best but behind Kirk
my man
Archer is second.

Picard is shit, homie got captuired by robots and turned into a drone.
sisko was great, yes, but really a lot of credit goes to his crew same as kirk. without them he's just another officers uniform.
Kirk > Picard > Sisko
yes.
The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth. The chain is forged with the first link.
He was the best toll collector
Sisko is the only black man that is actually based
>Sisko is the only black man that is actually ba-
Pfft. He was more based when trying to kill Picard
Sisko is based, probably more reliable to serve under than Kirk. Kirk will get you killed but you’ll have one hell of a ride.
Best commander by far too.
I need suggestions to find everyone Trekgays
Black folk don't make great anything.

Picard > Janeway > Sisko > Kirk
C'mon pal I know you're having a good time shitposting and all but just relax a bit bud
Why did you put Picard below Janeway in your reversed tier list?
I'm sorry you're all wrong and no I'm not sorry for all your moronation.
they lack faith of the heart
This
Archer had to make really tough decisions, when he had the choice to make easy ones, Kirk had a lot of those, Picard not so much, but still had some big ones
I watched a couple seasons of DS9 and sisko was basically right all the time, Janeway had the goal to go back home so that basically justifies everything...
In my book is Kirk>Archer>Picard>Everyone else
I love Enterprise for two reasons and they ain't Archer.
My personal Captain rating would go:
Sisko > Archer > Janeway > Kirk > Picard/nuTrek captains
season 4 of enterprise would have been peak trek had they shown her breasts as much as the season one.
frick off lol archer was a wanker. the whole s3 9/11 bullshit showed his true character when he steals shit from that other ship stuck inthe void.
and letting his dog shit on that alien or whatever.
prize wanker.
Sisko>Picard>Kirk
he wasnt a captain. he just sat in ds9 playing baseball. random deviant missions dont count.
I like sisko because ds9 strikes a really good balance between making him a paragon starfleet captain type while acknowledging that he's a very flawed and very angry person who is more soldier than diplomat
Same here. I prefer Archer as Captain but Sisko is his own thing, outside the hierarchy of Captains.
Sisko is more like a Manager on an space airport than a Captain
He literally holds the rank of captain.
Best Captain to serve under is Picard
Best Captain to drink with is Kirk
Best Captain to watch on tv is Sisko
Best Captain for facial abuse is Archer, but Janeway is a good backup choice
Pit every captain against each other with identical fleets and Sisko wins 9/10.
No shit, he's a soldier.
Kirk and Picard are explorers more than anything.
If we are counting Data as he was given command several times, I'll put my money there
Because I assume you are talking about strategy and Data so far is undefeated, or at the very least, can draw infinitely
Frick Kolrami!
The Voyager Doctor vs. Data
Data got outmaneuvered by a small rebel ship in that one episode
I'm sure there was a good reason not to blast them into space/use a tractor beam
If you’re counting Data, you have to count Riker as well. And I’m going with the meat bag here. Data can only go by raw numbers and probabilities. Riker can take human experience into account.
Kirk and Data try to gain control through fast initiative. Sisko hides. Archer has a dog. Janeway uses technobabble but it's ineffective since she's not the main character in the battle. Picard takes narrative control. Speech 100 always wins.
>Sisko hides.
Source: My ass
It's his special move despite also being a warcrime. He's depressed, avoidant, hates his job and all you need to distract him is a deepfake of some dead lady.
Why did you allow anon into your ass?
>teams up with Borg to create a WMD to genocide another species
>willing to risk her ship and crew over pretty much anything
>borderline insane but still high IQ and capable
>has a death wish to go down with her ship
Sisko is definitely the best soldier/general but Janeway has a potent mix of crazy + capable.
Well no shit, he basically beat up the Star-Trek version of God
DS9 has pitiful writing. Even through my nostalgia goggles I can't say it's better than nutrek
DS9 is great when it's good, but when it isn't good it consistently zooms way past mediocre and straight into dogshit. After a while it becomes unwatchable without an episode guide because there are so many shit episodes.

Let me guess, your definition of "good" is the crew ritually worshipping spent phaser couplings and growling about THE WAAAAAARRRR while the show equivocates about whether the self-appointed psychopathic torturing murdering genocidal maniacs in shiny black suits are *really* bad guys or not.
>psychopathic torturing murdering genocidal maniacs
Purely socio-economic factors. They're victims of the system and the liberal anti-torture elites.
Patrick Stwart decide to actively destroy Picard in his old age, so yeah, Sisko is the second best, after kirk.
i watched 1 season of DS9 so far
Kirk > Riker > picard > sisko so far
he realy doesnt have a character other than being angry all the time so far.
Sisko is pretty gay in the first season, might even be the first two. He gets better, his shitty character when I first watched it almost put me off altogether.
Season one of any trek is always weak. Try sticking it out or at least skip ahead to season three or four
Schitzko is my favorite captain.
>below Picard
Sisko > Kirk > Pike > Picard.
Sisko > Archer > Picard > Janeway > Kirk (i havent actually watched TOS so this is why kirk is so low)
Star Treks II, III and IV and their consequences have been a disaster for the franchise.
Because everyone always characterizes Kirk as a "cowboy" or a "maverick" who regularly disobeys orders, even though the situation was unique. He was completely different in TOS.
>The situation was unique 3 times in a row
He only disobeyed orders in III.
He alternates between best and worst.
Crazy genocidal prophet sisko is based as frick.
Lecturing people about racism on earth 6 centuries ago sisko is fricking moronic.
Kirk=Picard=Sisko=Jellico[!spoiler]>dog shit>every other captain
Huh what went wrong with the spoiler tag
I will never apologize for ds9 being my favourite trek, it's just a comfy 7/10 all the way through. Sisko is great
I watched a view eps of Voyager S2 yesterday and its still quite watchable. I cant believe it first aired in 1995 when it looks the way it does.
>I watched a view eps of Voyager S2 yesterday and its still quite watchable.
"quite watchable"? Most of Voyager is Trek kino. And it's better than anything that came after it.
i tried voyager for about 2 seasons but i just couldn't get into it.
it just felt like discount TNG with a weaker cast to me, even though i really like the basic premise of a ship trying to get back
That's most Trek is you fricking homosexual.
>a ship in outer space going somewhere with a Star Fleet crew
>Picard
>Kirk
>Sisko

>Janeway
But Sisko is great because the actor and writers had to figure out a good middle between Wild West Kirk and classic diplomat Picard.
Honestly I like all the captains. They’re all good in their own shows, even Janeway and Archer
But would you trust them to make decisions for you and humanity? Picard has human reason. Kirk has human intuition. Janeway has a vegana. Archer has a dog. It's a cute dog, that's not the issue in question.
Archer IS the dog. He's a human golden retriever.
sisko is cool. he's probably the closest to my own personality. Still think picard is the most impressive captain.
>going thru DS9
>just finished S2 Maquis p1 and 2
>outside a few moments they kinda suck, drawn out with lots of exposition
Is there a point in s3 the series starts picking up? This is a lot of highs and lows.
TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise all share the same trait of improving with the third season. TOS is the odd duck that got worse in the third season. And if other Star Treks exist then I do not know them.
Getting through endless episodes of Bajoran politics in season 1 was a real slog.
Oh no, who will be the next Kai?!??
You will learn to love Louise Fletcher as an actress even as you loathe her character.
It's crazy watching DS9 seeing how patrick tomlinson copied a bunch of winn's mannerisms as if she was of good character
No my child, you did not fart in my vegana and that is not my penis in your gay holosuite program. Enjoy prison.
No one liked Nurse Ratched. We already knew Louise could act.
/trek/ is healing
>Now that the dust has settled, is it fair to say that he was the second best captain? Only slightly below Picard
No.
He was better than Picard.
I still haven't forgiven him for letting Hue go back to the Borg without the doomsday .jpg. Throwing away a sure win in favor of a slim maybe win is just asinine.
Oh wow such philosophy and morals gee that will surly be a comfort to every species and civilization the Borg destroy this moment forward. You condemned billions, possibly trillions, to horrible deaths and extinction but hey at least your own sense of self righteousness is in tact. Fricking gay.
To defeat the devil is to forgive him.
>muh billions
All sinners. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius.
Its not about the devil its about a jackass that put every species in the galaxy in jeopardy, including his own, for the sake of his own sense of ethics.
When species death is on the table all ethics go right out the window. You play to win and to hell with everything else.
>to hell
Is where genocide leads. If you take responsibility for God's creation you better know what you're doing and you don't. Your logic applies to sharks gorillas and the chinese, all are existential threats. He was proven right by Voyager.
Kirk handled the Q-type guy the same way except he didn't quote Shakespeare. He was proven right by Q's parents.
>I still haven't forgiven him for letting Hue go back to the Borg without the doomsday .jpg
Janeway does almost the exact same thing and is willing to use it on a borg baby life if it came to that.
It's even worse because Hugh and his buddies on the Borg Cube end up nearly dying anyway because of their new individuality, and only survived because of Lore, and many of them are absolutely miserable being individuals and blame Picard for ruining their lives.
Eating ravioli with Captain Janeway naked
sisko wasn't a 'captain'. thats what the whole show was about did you even watch it?
picard was actually a bad guy. thats what the whole show was about did you even watch it?
he was way too stuffy about q, the point of starfleet being to explore and he treats q like an annoying fly lol. when worf is looking for data about kittamar picard helps him begrudgingly, he clearly doesn't fricking want to lol. hes a rule stickler instead of a human being, kirk would wipe his ass with the rule book because he knew what the right thing to do was. lots of examples where picard followed the rules too strictly does that make him a bad captain?
watch the extended version of the data is a person trial (ep name? lol) data has to actually explain to picard that he is alive before picard fricking gets it lol. picard is ready to throw his number two to the wolves without a thought never mind a fight. in lower decks (episode not series) he sends that red squad girl to her death basically. he does it on fricking purpose lol. what a c**t. watch those two and then get the idea in your head that hes a wanker and then watch them all through again, when you know to look for it its obvious.
kirk was a good captain and they have gone downhill steadily since.
There’s an extended version of Measure of Man? Is it the on P+? I might have to hunt it down since it’s one of my favorite episodes of TNG.
Picard also got very upset at Data creating Lal because muh rules. But then again that episode was the equivalent of A female crewmate impregnating herself and having the baby in secret. So his anger was somewhat justified,
thats the ep, idk if its on services.
pikard just hates kids
They should have doubled down on Picard’s disdain for kids instead of softening him up. But I guess that side of him didn’t test well with audiences. For the whole first season Stewart was in danger of being sacked and replaced by Frakes. It would have ended his career in the States.
>kirk would wipe his ass with the rule book
No he wouldn't
Good character, bad captain
For the uniform says otherwise. Fricking hate that episode. Same for Janeway and Equinox episodes
Janeway... had an interesting life.
>open to genocide
>constantly breaks the prime directive
>makes up her own morals and ethics as she goes along the way
>kills Tuvix
why do people hate Janeway again? She's the kind of crazy that you want on your team not some philosopher poet like Picard or boomer cowboy like Kirk.
Kirk would be saving the day before Janeway even has a clue to what was going on.
>Will not kill one person to save another
>Will kill one person to save 2 people
Needs of the many. Did nothing wrong.
Killing Neelix would save many because many could harvest his many different organs.
That applies to the people getting the organs too so this leads to an infinite loop of organ transplants, as God intended.
I think he's a well-written character, but DS9 isn't really what I want from Star Trek.
Kirk was the best captain. He was more human than Picard, less lawless than Sisko, not as emotional as Janeway and mentally stronger than Archer.
I actually like S1-3 thoughtful empathetic Sisko a little more than Picard, he's a good balance of the qualities that make people like both Picard and Kirk. Once he shaves his head and turns into a wailing genocidal lunatic with a god complex and the actor starts shoving his Current Year racial politics into things he becomes the joint-worst Captain of the original shows with Archer IMO.
Dipshit anons with the minds of children will rant about Le Heckin Ebin BASED Capitan Baldhead, but the fact of the matter is in TOS or TNG, later-seasons Sisko would have been an antagonist for the hero ship crew to overcome. A somewhat sympathetic antagonist, misguided rather than truly evil sure, but definitely depicted as wrong and even on occasion criminal in his methods. Star Trek is not "morally grey" and Starfleet Captains that we're supposed to admire in the context of Star Trek don't go around virus bombing planets because of a personal grudge.
Frick (S4+)Sisko, and frick whoever came up with S31 up the arse with a rusty ragged tin can while you're at it.
bad captains make a great show. a great captain has everything at hand and knows how to use his crew to overcome any obstacle. conversely if the crew has to rally and untangle a mess and overcome the terrible decisions of their captain it's much more interesting show. and for that reason Janeway reigns supreme.
Let's talk about Best Girl instead
how far down do those spots go?
ive only watched TNG and am sick of forced diversity- will i still enjoy ds9?
The one woke episode is where Sisko has dreams he's a Black form the 60s or something and is getting racismed every day and wypipo bad
