>Simping for Iger >Not the contrarian standpoint in any situation
Right wingers endlessly simping for billionaires is the contrarian standpoint little timmy.
>Erm you don't like ceo meddling in auteurs story? What is it like to be a contrarian!
Ritht wingers are so fricking gay lmao
being honest, i don't really like the idea that the killer would never be revealed, and him being revealed gave us the S2 finale, FWWM and some of the great episodes of the return, so i don't care
The reveal was fine. Any longer and the mystery would have lost all interest. The problem was continuing the show while not having any to story to tell.
I can assume by the text that he never even apologized to Lynch. It's in these small details that you realize how executives never really care about art, the author, etc. He simply laments that the hit TV show didn't keep running
Trying to tone down Lynch's weirdness was not a bad thing. You either have something where the half-mad artist gets full control and makes something meandering, unfocused, showing abstract thematic mumbo jumbo with a lack of clear structured storytelling, OR you get something that can be broadcast on prime time TV. But forcing him into specific story decisions is not a good idea at all and even Iger realised it.
Disney gross profit for the twelve months ending March 31, 2023 was $28.739B, a 11.01% increase year-over-year. Disney annual gross profit for 2022 was $28.321B, a 27.07% increase from 2021. Disney annual gross profit for 2021 was $22.287B, a 3.62% increase from 2020.
Robert Iger is an American businessman and CEO who has a net worth of $350 million.
they should have waited until at least the season 2 finale or season 3 premiere to reveal the killer. revealing it in the middle of the season was fricking dumb.
anons are gonna say iger because theyre hapless contrarians and furious midwits

But it literally won't. Do the math.

Okay um well I'm still not writing a letter to him demanding the return of garbage I don't want to watch. Sorry b***h.

It got weirder after Lynch pulled out. It was just silly weird instead of intriguing weird.
>Looking back now, I'm not convinced I was right
Really, Bob? What tipped you off?

>avoided the show being a proto-Lost mystery box shit
Sounds like they made the right decision. Look how nobody remembers anything from s3.
I wanna see Laura in the timeline where she didn’t get murdered.
probably pretty close to carrie paige
Best I can do is half an episode of Sheryl Lee playing another character, but she does the scream at the end of the episode.
whats he working on now
that wisteria netflix shit didnt work
netflix ruins everything anyway so i hope he never makes anything with them
In a civil war, the only real damage is to the sheep
I considered Iger to be a piece of garbage to begin with. Finding out he was the one who hurt Twin Peaks s2 settles it.
