Impossible to tell at this point. They may even shelve the character for years like Green Lantern. Though the silver lining that we have is any new solo origin story Flash film is now free to use any villain/material since none were wasted on the Ezra trash heap

Unironically yes, he was a fairly popular recast choice even before James Gunn took charge of the DCU.
He's been a fancast since 2019 and spoke about the role

How about MCU Spidey runner up Charlie Plummer as DCU Flash/Wally. While I know most of you are probably unfamiliar with him. He's just an all around good actor who I think could really nail a Wally who's still grappling with Barry's death and struggling to live up to the Flash legacy.
I bet 10 dollars that Gunn is going to relegate Flash to a joke character who only appears for laughs and jobbing implying his superman movie will not flop
