I was nowhere near as invested in S2 as I was in S1. S1 had a certain novelty that made it more entertaining to watch. It was funnier when you thought it was a one time thing and that you were watching something special, but S2 doesn't have that feel. It feels routine now. Plus the contestants all knew what they were getting themselves into so there wasn't as much shock value the second time around. They were also more forgettable than the S1 cast.

The complete reliance on improv in the back half of the show was unbearable and the final week had LITERALLY NOTHING go on for 5-6 days straight, to the point Tay was just wandering around rooms vacantly staring at shit before moving on to the next room for 16 hours a day while the others just tried sleeping the whole day just to pass the time.
Both seasons have the same problems. Arguing over which season is better is pointless. Both seasons were 99% downtime with frick all happening and them sitting in silence. The only good moments are when they are giving something to do and then organically they cause drama and do something interesting.
Both seasons lacked solid rules and challenges. It's pathetic when Jet comes up to start whining about how they are boring and do nothing, but they don't have a challenge or anything going on. The closest thing to some kind of a challenge pushing content forward was when they were competing for chris points near the end, and that was just some bullshit chris made up on the spot. They were doing things, fricking with eachother, discussing strategy, all because chris told them he is going to give them some points he made up.

Trish was always regarded well by the audience, she just didn't have a huge glut of inactive endorsements like Shinji got in the early days. Had they wiped the numbers after each elimination she would have been just fine. People seem to forget that Trish and Tay's feud and later both of their hatred of Chris was basically carrying the show in terms of content until she was eliminated.
