Don't be sad that they're gone. Be happy that you got to take part in them.

The end of the second episode left me with sweaty palms from how scary it was.

I felt very sick during the scene where they put the plastic wrapped radiated bodies in the lead coffins and bury them in concrete

It gets worse as it goes along but still never drips below 8/10. The only "people" who hate it are vapniks who get angry it shits all over their slave mentality.

10/10 series, one of the greatest ever. Not even the forced strong independent woman shit could bring it down

6/10, which might be generous. Basically no cultural impact. Never discussed in any serious critical capacity these days. I bet a lot of writers are embarrassed to have given it so much praise.

Why did Jessie Buckley keep touching her melting radioactive husband? Is she dense?

First two episodes are a good watch. Horribly biased and inaccurate, but it's a TV show. Would have been better as a two hour movie with a real director at the helm.

      >biased
It's a show retard. It was never meant to be a 1 to 1 recreation. Again. It's called a show.

I said that in my post, retard.

        >Horribly biased and inaccurate
it is more accurate than most 2h docus about chernobyl

        Wow, who cares.

Predictably for a garden gnome-written show about "da trufe" it got everything other than the basics about the accident wrong.

It's funny because everyone was saying "this is why communism sucks and always fails" and the showrunner came out to say "nooooooooo! chernobyl is due to humans acting stupid!"

The greatest Chernobyl kino collection of all is this btw: https://docudays.ua/eng/2017/news/kino/chornobyl-invisible-2017/
It contains several Soviet documentaries from the time before the disaster (1970s, early 1980s) as well as independent films from the time after, including the now well known film Chernobyl: Chronicle of Difficult Weeks and the lesser known film Alive Yet (1992) (which is the bleakest Chernobyl kino of all of them). Good luck finding the collection, maybe some university library has it.
