I hope she shows up in the final season. It would be really weird if they just completely forget her. I think the issue was the episodes featuring her felt like a forced spin-off pilot no one asked for. With the endgame seeming like a giant battle it would make sense if she shows up with her buddies to add to the numbers of the main cast or at the very least just have her show up. She knows where 11 is from and I’m sure what happened made the news so she probably knows her sister needs help. Even if they bring back just to kill her off idc but it feels like such a loose end never bringing her back
That's not 8, the real eight was killed by 1 in the lab.
okay. who is she then?
I forgot about her. I think bringing her back to kill her off would be weird but I've seen stranger things.
It would just be weird as frick if the series ends without tying up loose ends especially since it failed in become a spinoff
It would be even crazier if they had the same plot for four seasons.
Oh.....
I like the episodes when the kids communicate by screaming.
that wouldnt be very weird at all, the show seems low effort in its writing
I feel like at most she’ll show up in the last episode like, “hey girl how you been” but the big bad is already defeated and shit
I chuckled.
This episode felt like it took an eternity to get through. It was just a backdoor pilot. I hated every single minute of it.
Agreed. The issue was trying to force a spin-off no one asked for. El is still one of the most interesting parts of the show so another # being out there was cool sadly the way they want about it was shit
This was just a diversity hire episode due to contractual obligations. All shows above a certain number of episodes have to have a certain number of writers. They probably just tossed this episode to someone's stepdaughter to meet their quota so they have no need to even address this again.
You actually watched this slop still care about character/plot arcs? She doesnt matter, none of it does. Youre being pandered to by a corporation
I don’t care that she’s POC. I’m a fan of show and I can admit her episodes were shit I’m just saying that we know season 5 is the last season and it would be weird if she doesn’t show up again at all. Hell I even suggested they kill her off
I never mentioned her being a POC. Apparently you do care.
Well idk what you were getting at by pandering anon. Her character had a good concept but it was done badly idk what you want me to say here
Pandering, like being appealed to as a means of satisfying you. In this case by a corporation. You saw that and immediately thought about her race. Good job.
In the sense that a one-off miniseries is getting YET ANOTHER season it doesn't need, won't do anything new with, and as per the trend of every other season will have worse writing than the last - for no other reason than to leech money from the zoomer cultural phenomenon of worshipping soulless corporate products like a cult.
It's completely hollow. If you actually liked S01 you should hate what's been done to it. Evidently you don't, so you're the exact moronic demographic this fricking slop is being shat at. You should be ashamed of yourself.
No its best to ignore that episode ever happened. They don't need to bring it up frick that
If they confirmed it’s retconned I wouldn’t be so autistic about it but they reference her in season 4 so clearly she’s a thing
Piece Of Crap?
i forgot most of the halfassed lore of stranger things, i only watched the first 2 seasons. I think i remember her being in it.
>They thought people were dying to watch more of this face
It's hilarious how hard every single fan of the show wanted to forget these shitty episodes happened. Fans celebrate all of these Stranger Things stars, even when they're written out of the show, and yet no one gives a shit about this girl or her cringe gang.
This was actually the best part of that piece of shit season 2
This show desperately needs to ditch thst binge model for the last season. Fricking nause having it spoilered day 1 and no talk, stretch that shit out
Do you want to watch the show or do you want to talk about the show for an extended period of time?
Both lmao
The weekly release schedule is perfect, it allows proper talk and digestion of a show each week. Look how well ot helped The Last of Us. The binge model is shit because every online discussion goes automatically to the end finale
Releasing one episode a year is better. You can talk about a show your entire life.
Isn't that the dude who made the Castlevania anime?
I think it was a stealth pilot.
Stranger Things fans are really pesky and annoying(eg all the people pretending to care about Barb) so the Duffers thought they could get them to lobby for a spinoff.
if she is 8 why is she older than 11?
How are they gonna hide the fact she's a total bimbo now?
It was either a failed backdoor pilot to a spinoff series or they hoped people would be impressed by it so they could then adapt The Invisibles, a comic by Grant Morrison (there were some direct references to it). Either way, I hope it hurt their ego in the end.
This episode was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was so fricking boring I managed to convince my date to let me eat chocolate syrup off her butthole
is she the only survivor?
they should just go full fricktards and visit a parallell universe where all the characters in the show meet their opposite sex character and they team up in the void
maybe they meet in the void on the same mission somehow
maybe nancy shows her tight clam
just kidding
the israelites and jesuits have been at that thing for a few decades already
Reminder that Stranger Things is written by people that were born in the late 80s. Absolute posers.
