Cinemaphile has been claiming that The Walking Dead is dying since Season 2 thirteen years ago. Thr Ones Who Live was AMC's most watched new series in the last 7 years.
actually blows my mind that this slop was so popular with normies that they're still making spinoffs and shit and it last 80 seasons
It's doing pretty good actually
So I just checked and the first two episodes of this shit each got around 890,000 viewers on AMC
For reference the all time most watched episode (Glenn meeting Lucille) got 17,030,000 viewers
Ratings are measured differently now compared to 7 years ago anon, AMC+ changes things a lot. Besides, TWD was making absurdly high numbers during that time.
>The Ones Who Live
Doesn't help when I can't remember the name of this fricking spinoff because it's so boring and lame. the Walking Dead: The Rick.. Rick something right? or Walking Dead: Grimes Times? whats it called again
Towards the end it was getting interesting to see Ricks change of heart to take the role to better the world by taking down the Illuminati faction who run the cities. Shame it had to be a Rick and Michonne love story because I lost all interest in the remaining episodes now.
End of first episode was fricking awful. Michonne and Rick just run into each other again. Just like that lmao out of pure chance. Its a repeat of Fear the Walking Dead where characters split over and over and over and then meet again over and over and over. It got to the point they'd just skip the story between episodes like whole scenes were missing, and you'd be like WTF these buttholes are togther again? Repeat that process ad nauseum. This is back to Fear quality. bottom of the barrel writing on display

>serialized drama that has no intention of going anywhere and has negative incentive to ever reach a satisfying conclusion
How is The Walking Dead any different from any other soap opera
The first episode was pretty good up until the end. I liked the idea of Rick just resolving to forget escaping and reconcile with spending the rest of his life changing the CRM from within as a way of protecting the people he loved, if they'd had the balls to follow through on that and step away from the soap opera dynamic of TWD it could have been a great show. But I have no interest in exploring the Rick/Michonne relationship. And the second episode with the D&D artificer dwarf and his inventions was just dumb and memey and very Gimplish,I'm glad he/she/it died
>the D&D artificer dwarf and his inventions was just dumb and memey and very Gimplish,I'm
Robert Kirkman is guilty of Shiva (Kang Ezekiel is dumb but not too dumb for me, I'd want to be part of the Kingdom) and Princess and shitting his pants to force an ending that weeks prior he said was nowhere near he was supposed to write years of Carl Grimes that was TWD's long-term Mission Statement it was eventually getting a giant Carl story in the form of actual fricking volumes not a 1 issue timeskip
They put the entire dead city first season out for free on Pluto TV's walking dead channel a while ago. Was actually bretty decent. I don't have cable and I'm not subbing to AMC+
Nope. >Bad guy comes from NYC and kidnaps Maggie's son. >Maggie supposedly discovers that bad guy was an ex Savior. >Maggie attacks Negan who was just chilling somewhere else. >Bad guy was a fricked up savior that Negan kicked out. >Maggie forces Negan to help her. >Plot twist is that bad guy actually wanted Maggie to give him Negan in exchange of her son. >All this happens in NYC. >Maggie behaves like a crazy b***h in this, while Negan is pretty reasonable.
It's a pretty fun watch.
I liked that tales from the walking dead spinoff off
or at least the terry crews(mostly because it used all modern tech we have now and not just 2010 and older), zombie david attenborough and time loop episodes
it was ok, wait four weeks to see if there's a proper ending or if it's another bait show though, also >numbers for halo were so bad they put the entire season up for free
lmfao
Main show ended. Apparently they're trying to do some Avengers type shit, throwing a bunch of limited tv shows to bring them all together at some point to defeat a massive antagonist (the CRM).
This show addresses the Rick thing while fully fleshing out the big threat.
I mean World Byond was supposed to flesh them out, but that show was a massive failure and nobody likes it.
The first episode set up something super interesting and then ruins it at the end. The tragedy is the show has us viewers along with Rick move on from him trying to get back to his family, so Michonne popping up just sours the mood. Would’ve been much better if they kept it a pure crm political thriller. Hold off Michonne to the second season at least.
are so bad
pray tell anon...
what ARE the numbers

Rick has no purpose with Carl dead.
>they faked Rick's death so he could have a spinoff
>they actually killed Carl
Jesus Christ, end it.
>on the youtube
have a nice day esl
He’s not a minority you homosexual he’s a boomer. Go easy on him.
I'm enjoying it so far
>not available in your country
Fine! I didn't want to watch it anyway!

they have zero chemistry, i don't get why the show is pushing it other than the interracial angle. they shouldn't have killed off Andrea.

But it's basically this and the DEI Interview with the Vampire, right? I can't think of anything else AMC makes.
It is comically bad. Ridiculous pacing, atrocious dialogue, a nonsensical plat where nothin makes sense.
I thought Rick died in the original series
The show hasn't followed the comics since season 1.
I'm not talking about the comics, I'm talking about the original TWD series. Did Rick die and Andrew Lincoln leave the show?
He was on a bridge that exploded, everyone thought he died in the explosion but he went into the river, washed up and got rescued by the CRM
Scott dimple got the easiest cushiest gig ever. You can write whatever bullshit you want and AMC will never stop pumping out the slop
>The uploader has not made this video available in your country
How would things be if they hadn't forced out Darabont?
A timeless masterpiece to last the ages
Not much better, given the state of the comic

THE WHO ONES LIVE

Frick you, from France.

>the youtube

skill issue
You sound like a fricking manchild. Keep throwing a fit, b***h. Grow the frick up.
this was actually almost half way not bad
they fricking now ? kek
no they hate each other throughout the whole thing
the whole show is about maggie trying to kill negan and him trying to apologize for glen
Nope.
>Bad guy comes from NYC and kidnaps Maggie's son.
>Maggie supposedly discovers that bad guy was an ex Savior.
>Maggie attacks Negan who was just chilling somewhere else.
>Bad guy was a fricked up savior that Negan kicked out.

It's a pretty fun watch.
Do people really give a shit about this show?
Walking dead became woke. Pushed agenda shit.
Walking dead fear was written by a moron. Unbelievably stupid shit. Ended awfully.
Other walking dead spin off - no one cared, no one watched.
Spin off with maggy and negan - utter garbage. Didn't need to be done.
Now this shit that's just dragging a dead series even more down the toilet
I liked that tales from the walking dead spinoff off
or at least the terry crews(mostly because it used all modern tech we have now and not just 2010 and older), zombie david attenborough and time loop episodes
>there are people who are STILL watching this trash
holy frick, the sunk cost fallacy is real
How many minutes into the first episode does Rick lose a fight to a woman?
lol good instincts
its at the 16:40 mark
wait really?
yup just open the link in OP and skip to 16:40 lol
only half way through, no homosexual but secs yet
At what time stamp does it praise gays or obviously begin panding to the left?
The ones who sneed
Kills your franchise
Twd should have ended after Negan was defeated
negan was the beginning of the end of walking dead
actually blows my mind that this slop was so popular with normies that they're still making spinoffs and shit and it last 80 seasons
>kill off carl
>pair rick with a sheboon
>has a Black person son
I don't give a frick about sóy rick
What even was the point in that aside from liberal writers cucking rick.
The son was practically dropped from the beginning and was 99% never shown
because racemixing is the future goy!
Schizo poltard alert
that's right, it's all just coincidence, all in his head!
schizo = things i dont want to hear
it was ok, wait four weeks to see if there's a proper ending or if it's another bait show though, also
>numbers for halo were so bad they put the entire season up for free

It's doing pretty good actually
Wait what the frick? They’re STILL making Walking Dead. What is it about this show that people love so much. It had like 1 and a half good seasons.
Main show ended. Apparently they're trying to do some Avengers type shit, throwing a bunch of limited tv shows to bring them all together at some point to defeat a massive antagonist (the CRM).

I mean World Byond was supposed to flesh them out, but that show was a massive failure and nobody likes it.
>mfw I notice rigg aint burning local, man
I don't think I'll watch it
>15 years since the outbreak
>millions of zombies are still around
>they're still a threat

ACK!
evil little creature
Fella has a piggy nose
*Rick shouting slowly*
THIS IS HOW THE SHOW SURVIVES.
