Objectively speaking, this is one of the best shows of all time. It's beautifully shot, has compelling and well written characters that serve as redpills, legitimate actors like Zendaya and Colman Domingo, and appeals to both gen Z to millenials. It's just very unique, although people like to compare it to Skins or Degrassi, there's just quite nothing like it. It had huge cultural impact and its style will shape TV content for years to come.

He is a male that presents as female, except for the penis. When your choices are 'he', 'she', or gender neutral nonsense like 'they' and 'xer', it's much easier to go with 'he' or 'she'. Since Hunter - even with a penis - presents in a predominantly feminine fashion, it feels more natural to just say 'she' in a lot of contexts.
