I like them all just fine, I’m not sure why people seem to dislike them so much. Confucious is best boy, he’s funny and sweet, Frida is cool(although her personality could be explored more), Harriet is probably the weakest one but she still has a personality unlike what other people are saying. Topher
I couldnt put my finger on who the reptile lady was reminding me of but now I realized shes a lot like Chester V from cloudy with a chance of meatballs from the glasses to the way she moves.
Until that shitty "White man confidence" song, Frida.
After that, Confucius.
Pink blackberry doesnt have a personality or design strong enough to be my favorite anything.
That's because, let's be honest here, Frida has no real personality to speak of outside of just being "chill". Her only flaw/comedic element being "not chill when crush xDD"
Being chill can be a cope IRL for some people too. It's one thing to just be chill with regards to many things, but it's another thing entirely to make everyone's perception of you being chill your life's goal.
Because the writers know he's a fan favorite and as a result of JFK going viral on tiktok they stripped away anything remotely funny and assholish about him.
Same, and now, I almost fall asleep during Joan and JFK scenes.
Bravo new writers.
Their break up ended up being the most entertaining thing about them as couple, for the all the screentime they took up it felt so underdeveloped.
I liked the funeral bit with them treating the breakup like a death and the tortoise, felt like they intentionally used Litter Kills as a basis for this episode and as a callback. Everything else was kinda eh, Joan walking into the pool to scream felt like a classic clone high moment.
The funeral was stupid, because why reference ponce when JFK says "I NEVER HAD ANY GUY FRIEEEEENDS" in the second episode

Did he say "never" or that he just didnt have any at that point? Because that wouldnt be a contradiction if its the latter

I didn't meant as in directly referencing him but as in the stupid tortoise just shows up for an episode and everyone acts like it was always there just like Ponce.
Topher > Confucius = Harriet > Frida for me
I think there are some ideas with Harriet that could give her more conflict in her stories but I feel they're never actually used. I actually wanted her cucking Joan to lead to something but Joan just takes it like a cuck, AND THEY BROKE UP ANYWAYS!
I just feel Frida never gets anything to do or any conflicts or even show off why she's popular. I feel like she could've used a B-plot with Abe, since they bounce off each other on some singular scenes. Maybe instead of that le white man song and Frida saying how she had to work hard, showing her ACTUALLY working hard while Abe is just being delusional and self-absorbed. Abe getting shat on the first episode of the revival was funny because he walked into that all by himself. In the play episode it feels they're just shitting on him for being confident.
Women will always love the vapid and objetifying jock, so now they'll just shit on the underdog simp, who's admittedly also vapid and objetifying, but weaker, annoying and unattractive so its alright.
they're all tolerable, that's the point of contrasting the old butthole clones with the new friendlier & chill batch. it's why Frida is the popular girl instead of Cleo.
>that's the point of contrasting the old butthole clones with the new friendlier & chill batch
Definitely not lmfao >it's why Frida is the popular girl instead of Cleo
No it's supposed to be a "gen z beauty standards are different" thing, so popular≠pretty.
>Lord: I'd say if anything has evolved since the pitch, it's that the show got more affectionate for all the characters, and it got a lot more sympathetic. The things that turned out to be the funniest were the ones that were honestly the warmest.
>Rivinoja: We always thought that Abe was the hero in it and he was our POV guy and we loved him, and people don’t. People hate Abe and think he’s such a turd. Chris and Phil were like, “We need more Abe stories,” and I was trying to say, “A lot of these young writers don’t want to hear from Abe ever again.” Even though at the time we thought Abe was our way in, I think it was really Joan.
Every single one of these is far too over designed and with far too many colors. Compare these designs to the simplicity of Joan, Abe, even JFK and Cleo and they stand out horribly.
I find it funny how ppl who are fans of the new show aren't fans of the original/cant be, because the new show is barely like the original, its like wearing a skin suit
Confucius > Frida > Harriet
Christopher Columbus makes me chuckle just because he's allowed to be more of a freak.
My man Confucius
theres 4 main clones, and topher is the best one
Four* your forgot Topher
I like them all just fine, I’m not sure why people seem to dislike them so much. >I’m not sure why people seem to dislike them so much
Unironically old bad, new good. Thats why people redesign them and intentionally miss the point of why they look the way they look
>old bad, new good
I think you got that backwards
oops yeah
Honestly I don't think they're bad characters. However they'd come off a lot stronger if they + Topher were the only protagonist of the series.
got any more?
all of them are pretty fun.
Not the most amazing characters, but none of them are annoying in anyway
I couldnt put my finger on who the reptile lady was reminding me of but now I realized shes a lot like Chester V from cloudy with a chance of meatballs from the glasses to the way she moves.
He looks like Gandhi but 3d
They've grown on me. Confucius is the best of those three, but Frida and Harriet are fine.
>Topher is so good people still think he's from the previous season
lmao.
Also, i like Frida.
I like them all I just wish their designs werent so eye searingly bright
A product of how zoomers dress
I think only Frida should be the one wearing bright colors maybe Confucius too as they seem to be going for rich kid influencer for him.
They also wear plenty of black, neutrals and earthy tones too.
Until that shitty "White man confidence" song, Frida.
After that, Confucius.
Pink blackberry doesnt have a personality or design strong enough to be my favorite anything.
>seething from le funny gag show
I'd argue Harriet's personality is actually stronger than Frida's
That's because, let's be honest here, Frida has no real personality to speak of outside of just being "chill". Her only flaw/comedic element being "not chill when crush xDD"
Chill is never a compelling personality type and only has one major subversion.
That's why star vs didn't know what to do with Jackie besides make her gay.
Coincidentally they both skateboard.
Difference is Jackie is actually hot
Being chill can be a cope IRL for some people too. It's one thing to just be chill with regards to many things, but it's another thing entirely to make everyone's perception of you being chill your life's goal.
They started to flesh out Jackie then just dumped her out of the show.
Confucius is unironically kind of enjoyable. Harriet is meh and Frida doesn't actually do anything.
How far will they push the "haha she's trying to escape a future of being a basic b***h" joke though.
Why was white male confidence about Abe and not JFK?
Because in the context of the episode Abe decided he was already good enough for his role
But Abe is barely ever a confident character
Because the writers know he's a fan favorite and as a result of JFK going viral on tiktok they stripped away anything remotely funny and assholish about him.

its all worth it for him
Columbus
I like Frida since seems most like the person she's cloned from, unless there's something I'm not getting with Confucius and Harriet
topher>confucius>frida (horny for cleo)> frida normal> harriet
they're all tolerable, that's the point of contrasting the old butthole clones with the new friendlier & chill batch. it's why Frida is the popular girl instead of Cleo.

I actually always thought that too. Joan is way more likable than Abe and I was always more invested in what she or Ghandi was doing
Same, and now, I almost fall asleep during Joan and JFK scenes.
Bravo new writers.
I'll say this much, Frida is the only one that doesn't look out of place. Her style more or less matches with the idea of who she was.
Really, what the hell were they even thinking with Harriet? Even having her dressed up like a train conductor would be better than that.
You forgot Topher Bus.
Episode 8 poster
>what smells so yummy?
