You didn't miss out. It went absolutely fricking nowhere. Kind of a shame you missed the introduction and quick shuffling-off of the FtM troony character I guess.
It's a shame, because she's actually a very talented actor. I don't know why she only gets casted in shows that suck.

Funny thing about that is that BECAUSE incels are such socially maladjusted frickheads, they have a lot of disposable time and income that doesn't get leeched off by life partners and children.

Oh yeah, they're insufferable twats lost in an internet version of reality that tells them their shitty personality isn't their fault, its the world that's fricking with them, but trying to fanbait them as a replacement to actual marketing or putting some effort in to your production is a losing game.

Incels live rent-free in their heads which is funny because they're basically one of the least powerful or influential groups of people in the West.

It's not enough to just make something people would enjoy. It's not enough to make something you would enjoy. It's not enough to make something and just ignore that these people exist.

Incels to them is the idea that men are allowed to withhold their support from women who don't give them what they want. This is why they are compelled to make bad television and claim it is feminist. Making television for women that women would like is capitalism. Making bad television and forcing men to support it is praxis.

It was used in South Park. Some poor deluded idiots watched the South Park episode where Cartman gets a theme park and was like "Yes, making them angry and saying it's not for them WILL suddenly boost sales! This is brilliant!"

Given the slop that came out the other end, I wouldn't order more either. That's not a statement about the star but the production as a whole. I'm sure a lot of people worked really hard and had no influence on what was ultimately shat out, but that's the business.

Tatiana Maslany is probably just pissed because, like every other new MCU headliner, she was sold on this idea of a steady paycheck for cameos and multiple movie deals, and no on is getting any because the whole affair is a dumpster fire they should have closed the lid on after End Game.

Because otherwise the male character will outshine the female character, as is usually the case.

The worst thing about She-Hulk show is that in theory it's such an easy thing to make a good series.
A likable protagonist + some humor + cool action scenes + fun villains. That's literally it.
But of course you had to give it to Rick and Morty b***h who used this as an opportunity to b***h about everyone and everything and doesn't even like superheroes.

      >The worst thing about She-Hulk show is that in theory it's such an easy thing to make a good series.
A She-Hulk show honestly could've been amazing and hilarious. An episodic courtroom comedy where in one episode Jennifer gets Surtur out of a parking ticket, or proves that Loki couldn't have committed a crime because he was seen in episode three of his Disney+ series at the time and Sylvie can corroborate his story, or represent some minor character like Maya Hansen or Crossbones suing Kevin Feige for ruining/wasting them in their respective movies. And of course, outside of the courts, Jennifer would be a fun, confident character who actually enjoys being She-Hulk and doesn't complain about it the whole time and gets in all sorts of funny, fanservice-y, cheesecake-y situations, and yes, actual, proper fight scenes. Make the villain Titania or Abomination (get rid of his fricking hippie rehab bullshit; even if Blonsky legitimately turned over a new leaf, that shit was stupid) or The Leader, or hell, all three. Titania gets pissed at She-Hulk for some reason and so she contacts Abomination and Leader since they have some experience in that area... But no, of course the head writer of "Pin-up Girl Lawyer Hulk" has to be a fricking sexless troll who doesn't even know how courtroom scenes work (and apparently learning how just was not an option) and thinks "Did you know there are buttholes on the Internet sometimes?" is a compelling superhero story. And Marvel and Disney can't figure out why everyone's been hating on the MCU since Endgame. For frick's sake.

Shulk was explicitly not a legal show, because by the writers' own admission, they had no idea how to make one.
Most of the show is just Jen b***hing about petty shit, with maybe 2 minutes of courtroom time.

I think this show and every other flop made in the last decade are just proof that the "writers' guild" should have been completely purged. It's an institution that only mass produces "writers" who can't even write. They want a dozen people in a room so they can sit in a big, moronic circle and pass one shoddy idea around in a game of telephone until it's shat out into the production line. I could understand wanting different writers for different contexts, having both men and women plus any minority groups, but with how every single piece of media comes out the same, it's easy to tell that's not what's happening. There's no thought being put into it at all beyond a big round table where everyone has a voice but nobody is allowed to say anything new or original
