He's not wrong. Horror movies operate under a different set of rules than the rest of Hollywood. They shit these things out on shoe string budgets, with the most moronic concepts and level of writing, and horrorgays eat it up and try to convince everyone they know that it's the greatest thing ever made, and then they get 15 fricking sequels/prequels. Horror movies are easy mode for film making

I experienced it as did my dad with the storyline and script of "Exorcist II: The Heretic" and I am reliving that disaster again In fact, my guess is that this new film will dislodge "The Heretic" on the Worst Films of All Time List. This is what happens when filmmakers are in it ONLY for the money and have no appreciation of or for the story and characters being handed to them. Their constant reference to "The Exorcist Franchise"ought to have been the tipoff for everyone. These filmmakers have brought no imagination to this project only their lack of imagination and attitude of superiority. Fortunately this evolving disaster will leave the reputation of the original film (and of my father's only legitimate sequel, "Exorcits III: Legion") untouched.
